Overview
With very few weaknesses, Cooler enters Dokkan with a wide array of combat abilities that make him an incredibly intimidating force. Cooler leads to powerful categories, and in his base form is quite the useful support Card. However, where Cooler gets crazy is once players use his Active Skill to unleash this Card’s insane ATK Buff.
As for flaws, Cooler’s Ki Links are lacking, which can be annoying post-transformation, but this is worth the sacrifice for such high ATK potential. Frankly, there is not much to hate about this Card, and everyone should try their best to secure at least one copy of this powerful Card.
Strengths
Cooler leads not only Terrifying Conquerors but also Transformation Boost which opens players to a wide array of Super & Extreme Class allies that only push Cooler’s Team to its limit. Also, Cooler providing both Categories the same Buff gives players a lot of flexibility in Team composition.
Prior to his transformation, Cooler provides Transformation Boost allies +2 Ki and a 30% ATK & DEF Buff, provided they are only facing one Enemy. Considering most events are against one Enemy, you can see how easy this is to pull off.
When against 2 or more Enemies Cooler provides +2 Ki and a 50% ATK & DEF Buff to Terrifying Conquerors allies. With Transformation Boost having a larger pool of characters, with heavy overlap with Terrifying Conquerors, this makes Cooler a powerful leader.
While Cooler’s support Passive Skill is great, he sacrifices it after players transform with his Active Skill, but it’s worth it. Once transformed Cooler his Super ATK stacks ATK and Debuffs Enemy DEF by 50% for 3 Turns.
This new ATK stack is only made incredibly more powerful with Cooler’s new Passive Skill that provides an insane 180% ATK & DEF Buff, a 150% Ki Multiplier, and some monstrously powerful ATK Links like “Big Bad Bosses,” and “Fierce Battle.” Cooler on the right Team is hitting for some insane Damage numbers that make him quite the force to be reckoned with, and this is without support Cards.
Combine everything above with the fact Cooler now has a guaranteed additional ATK, that has a 25% chance to become a Super ATK, and has a guaranteed Critical Hit against Pure Saiyans & Hybrid Saiyans Enemies, Cooler is amazing.
Weaknesses
Let’s preface this section by saying Cooler’s Link Skill are powerful, there is not much to hate about this Card, that said players could possibly find some issues with his Ki Links. If Cooler is in his base form Ki is never an issue as Cooler’s Passive Skill provides much needed Ki for Cards that don’t have Cooler’s only Ki Link “Strongest Clan in Space.”
Once transformed Cooler is self-sufficient with a Passive Skill providing himself with +3 Ki, but if Cards are not on a Wicked Bloodlines Category don’t expect much Ki from Cooler outside his Leader Skill.
Synergy
Cooler is an amazing Card that best suited as the leader of his own Team due to the high Buffs he provides, and the powerful Cards on Terrifying Conquerors and Transformation Boost, which will benefit from Cooler’s base form Passive Skill. Likewise, the wide selection of powerful Extreme Class Cards on Terrifying Conquerors and Transformation Boost give players a great selection of power partners to activate Cooler’s Link Skills.
Even if players don’t want to run Cooler as a leader, this Card is self-sufficient and only gets stronger with every passing turn.
