Everyone gets a raid boss!

So while at Grand Central Terminal I couldn't help notice there were 2 level 4 raid bosses right next to each other. Rydon and Charazard. Took them both down then saw all the gyms around practically ha a raid boss on them.

What is the end goal here? To get everyone to spend coins on raid passes?

Here we have so many raids the notifications get really annoying, wish I could turn them off.

This is what makes the device crash and lag. Its constantly talking to Niantic servers.

Its so bad in NYC that even after a Valor trainer clears a Instinct or Mystic gym and puts in their defender the gym is still yellow or blue for about 10 minutes.

I asked this on saturday but it's not possible at all. When I start the app I get up to ten notifications and cannot play because of the lags from this.
Especially if you have done your free raid that day those notifications suck.
