Are tier 3 solo challenges even worth doing any more?
Yesterday, I beat a Psyshock Jynx with 50 seconds to spare, using only two level 30 Tyranitars and a level 30 Flareon. Before the defensive rebalance, a Jynx solo would require all six attackers, finishing with less than 20 seconds to spare (and losing was a real possibility).
Finding legendary raids and enough players is easy in Singapore, especially with SGPokeMap back up. The rewards for tier 3 solos pale in comparison. With tier 3 solo challenges no longer challenging, are they still worth doing?

Like someone said in a earlier comment: It depends if you need the raid boss itself. I suggest you chase Shiny Alolan Raichu (It's worth to have it), also 100% Machamp. The other ones are up to you (Although, if you want a really good Mamoswine, go for the Piloswine Raid boss challenge; Plot twist: It's not a challenge at all).
I'd left my records for every Tier 3 Raid boss:
Raichu (SP/WC): 61 Seconds left.
Piloswine (PS/AL): 99 Seconds left.
Jynx (FB/AL): 78 Seconds left.
Machamp (BP/HS): 68 Seconds left.
No weather boost on any of those raids.
Shiny hunting Alolan Raichu is probably the most exciting thing T3 raids can bringme at the moment. Apart from those I'd be hunting 100% Machamps to max out for T4 solos. I have an army of upper 30's from boosted catches but with their shoddy IVs I don't feel comfortable sinking the dust needed to max them out. I would rather get 100%s from raids or luckies from trades and max those out even if at lower levels. I feel you though, I remember the excitement of my first T3 solo. It's kind of weird knowing I can handle any of them now with no effort or prior preparation.
When you get 6 rare candy you feel they've been worth doing. When you get mainly potions you kick yourself for wasting time. None of the current lv3s are challenging for most higher level players, but for a lot of getting enough players for a tier 5 can be a problem once the raid boss has been out for a while, so I'm glad tier 3s exist.
