It's been a while since we had a Research Day, so it's nice to see a good one come about! Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk have long been great Pokemon in PvP, but both are generally semi-rare. So let's get a chance to collect a whole bunch of them at once!

  • Limited Field Research can be gotten from Pokestops, allowing players to obtain Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk with heightened Shiny rates.

Don’t be shocked, someone’s arriving to steel the show. This isn’t a trap—we’re excited to announce a new Limited Research Day featuring Stunfisk and Galarian Stunfisk!

In addition, for the first time in Pokémon GO, you’ll be able to encounter Shiny Stunfisk—if you’re lucky! Head out and collect those Field Research tasks and see how many Stunfisk you can encounter!

Limited Field Research tasks will be available when you spin Photo Discs at PokéStops. Complete them to encounter either Stunfisk or Galarian Stunfisk!
