Overview

Super Saiyan Broly is an incredibly powerful transforming Card, that has a lot of utility. He’s very versatile, with the ability to be run on many category Teams. Broly also has fantastic Link Skills, specifically with many common links that Pure Saiyans have. Pre-transformation, he attacks all Enemies with his Super Attack, which can be fantastic in situations where you’re fighting a lot at once.

After his transformation, he becomes a monster with a gigantic ATK Buff and the opportunity to launch multiple Super Attacks, making him a top Damage dealer wherever you decide to use him. As is the case with many Broly Cards, however, his Defense can be lacking. This is by no means a small weakness, but his Offensive capability makes Broly a mainstay almost anywhere you can fit him.

Broly’s Super Attack is AOE in his normal state, making him an ideal pick for World Tournament and Super Battle Road.

In addition, he can transformation after the 4th turn.

Lastly, he has incredibly high ATK, with a 188% increase from His Passive Skill after his transformation.

Full Power

Having two categories under his Leader Skill gives him a lot of versatility as a leader.

He also has great Link Skills, allowing him to fit in on his Teams very well. He Links especially well with other Brolys and Vegetas and pretty well with most other Pure Saiyans.

Weaknesses

Glass Cannon

Broly has relatively low Defense, so he shouldn’t be used to tank Enemy Attacks.

Identity Crisis

He has the same name as LR Nightmarish Impact Super Saiyan Broly (E.TEQ) so unfortunately, you can’t run them together outside of Virtual Dokkan Ultimate Clash.

Full Power

Even though his Link Skills are great for Full Power and Linking with other Pure Saiyans, it’s less helpful on Movie Bosses without other Brolys.

Synergy

Pure Saiyans, or Full Power

Broly Links extremely well with other Brolys that don’t share the same name (Legendary Super Saiyan Broly, Super Saiyan 3 Broly, etc.), Vegetas, and most other Pure Saiyans. This makes it extremely beneficial to put him on main rotation while running a Full Power category Pure Saiyan. On Movie Bosses, it can be difficult to find him a partner outside of other Brolys, so it’s recommended to bring some Full Power Cards if you want to run him on main rotation.

Pure Saiyans and Super Saiyans is where you’ll find a lot of his best partners. There’s a lot of overlap between Pure Saiyans, Super Saiyans and Transformation Boost, so it’s fairly easy to find a spot for Broly on a Transformation Boost Team as well.
