Movie Bosses beware, Gogeta is here. This F2P Gogeta boasts impressive stats when Extreme Z-Awakened, and becomes a great F2P leader for the Fusion category. With no issues gaining Ki, numerous ATK & DEF Buffs, and a Super ATK that stacks ATK, Gogeta is going to have no issues pulling his weight.
With only a few flaws, there is no reason for veteran and new players not to farm this Gogeta.
“This Time It Will Be Gokuga... Vekugo... Uh... How About Gogeta?"
Thanks to his EZA, Gogeta becomes the third F2P Fusion category leader with a Leader Skill that provides +3 Ki and a 77% Buff to ATK, HP, & DEF to all Fusion category allies. While Fusion has much more powerful leaders (e.g Transcendent Fusion - Super Saiyan Gogeta S.AGL), this Gogeta is a fantastic Fusion leader for new and F2P players.
After his EZA, Gogeta’s Passive Skill Buffs ATK & DEF by 77%. He gets another 20% Buff to ATK & DEF from Goku’s Family and Vegeta’s Family allies for a potential Buff total of 40% ATK & DEF. While he may not always be a tank, he’s definitely a heavy hitter.
No matter the situation, Gogeta is going to hit hard thanks to his high ATK stats. However, players should use him to counter Movie Bosses Enemies because Gogeta’s Passive Skill makes any Attack against Movie Bosses Enemies effective no matter their type.
Cup Runneth Over
Gogeta bursts into the fight with 5 great Ki Links like “Over in A Flash”, “Fused Fighter”, and “Shattering the Limit”. Gogeta will have no issues getting Ki in Fusion and Movie Heroes Teams.
This abundance in Ki pairs incredibly well with Gogeta’s Super ATK, which stacks ATK indefinitely. Players will be hard-pressed to find a situation in which Gogeta is not launching a Super ATK.
“You’re Insane I’m Not Posing Like That!”
While Gogeta’s Ki Links are incredible, his ATK Links leave something to be desired. “Kamehameha” and “Saiyan Warrior Race” only provide flat ATK Boosts, for a total of +3200 ATK when conditions are met.
These poor ATK Links make sense considering Gogeta’s Passive Skill buffs, ATK stacking, and being a part of powerful categories. Gogeta is a F2P Card after all. Despite his shortcomings in ATK Links, Gogeta will still reach high Damage numbers, so this is the most minor of setbacks.
“Don’t Get Cocky”
While his 40% Buff to ATK & DEF from Goku’s Family and Vegeta’s Family allies is great, players will struggle to meet such conditions on Fusion Teams.
On a Kamehameha Team, Gogeta will only have Goku’s Family allies unless players manage to have Inborn Pride - Super Saiyan Trunks (Kid) S.TEQ, but that Trunks may not be worth the slot to solely activate Gogeta’s additional Buff.
To gain all of his Buffs, Gogeta would need to be in a Movie Heroes Team. While Gogeta can also work extremely well in a Fusion Team, it will be at a slight cost. Similar to his lackluster ATK Links, the restrictions on Gogeta’s Passive Skill are a minor setback.
Fusion or Movie Heroes
While Gogeta can work efficiently in Kamehameha Teams, players might find that Fusion and Movie Heroes are much better categories to run this Gogeta, with Movie Heroes being the best category due to Gogeta’s Passive Skill.
Even F2P players will find Movie Heroes the best category to run Gogeta thanks to Cards like Becoming a Furious God - Super Saiyan God SS Goku S.AGL and The Power of a God Unleashed - Super Saiyan God SS Vegeta S.TEQ. Gogeta is an astonishing F2P Card worth the investment of Potential Orbs, and a great addition for any player.
