Primape has officially gotten so mad that it's died.... and that only made it angrier!
Nowadays it's pretty common for new generations of the Pokemon Main Series to look back towards its foundations when designing new Pokemon, and Annihilape is a prime example of this fact. This Fighting/Ghost Type Pokemon is the evolution of the Generation 1/Kanto Pokemon Primeape, and is one of the latest Pokemon in the series, as it was introduced in Generation 9/Paldea. It's got a genuinely interesting design and some potential, so get ready to look at your old Mankey/Primeape stash to see which is the best option to di-...evolve.

- You can evolve Primeape into Annihilape after you defeat 30 Ghost-type or Psychic-type Pokémon in battle with Primeape as your buddy. You do not have to defeat these Pokémon with Primeape.
Event bonuses
Team GO Rocket will appear more frequently at PokéStops and in balloons.
Throh and Sawk will both appear in the wild during the event, regardless of your location.
