Overview
INT SSJ Trunks got a very deserving upgrade with his EZA, that pushes his performance to become one of the better F2P Cards in Dokkan, but unfortunately he has tough competition under the same name, and it’s rare for him to be picked over LR Trunks or one of the premium versions.
Strengths
Trunks EZA gives him a very potent passive, that makes up for his poor base stats and makes him a competent fighter for F2P. When against Androids enemies, he gets an extra ATK Buff and a huge chance for his attacks to become Critical, giving him a good niche compared to some of the other SSJ Trunks Cards. His Super ATK can also Debuff enemies ATK and DEF which can help the whole team.
Weaknesses
Super Saiyan Trunks (Future) is currently one of the most contested name tags in the game, and includes many powerful premium Cards, and also a strong F2P LR. If a player has both maxed, the only time it’s worth considering using To a New Future over Alternate Ending is when fighting less than 2 Androids enemies.
Synergy
Trunks has a versatile Link Skill set and works really well with most golden haired Cards, which are common in all categories he fits in. He’ll struggle doing damage in stages with multiple enemies due to his passive restriction, however.

Hidden Potential
