Best way to get a higher score in Arena?

Make blessing teams that correlate with the current blessing bonuses, or, like everyone else says, use loli dragons, armors, or just merge higher

Merges (+10 units)
Legendary Weapons.
High Cost SP Skills (Exclusive skills, dual rallys, aether/galeforce, etc.)
Bonus units
Legendary Heroes and a team with the right blessing in a season with the same element.
And the new one, defeat units with a bonus unit to get 3 points in score for every kill.

You can use literally any characters you want+ bonus unit to get into and stay in tier 20, BST doesn't matter at all unless you're trying to get the #1 rank, in which case you only need money.

The most important things for areana teams are, in order:
1. Characters you like
2. Rarity
3. Merges
4. SP cost
5. BST

This is THE list of the most important aspects of the arena. Once you decide on your favorites, dump ALL your feathers into getting them merges, doesnt matter what their bst is because three units at 5+10 score above 730, even 139 bst shigure.

Then give them all aether, because galeforce sucks 80% of the time. Then build them to support each others flaws, this is by far the most important aspect of building because all it takes is one unit you didnt take into account to fuck up your streak.

This link will let you gain a solid idea of what your arena team's average score range will be, and can make build functioning units much much easier. For example, this is my average arena score with an askr unit, don't let dumbasses tell you that you need armors, because its a lie, the only reason to need armors is to get #1 rank, which involves using 5 star locked units with ridiculous builds.

This week was actually my first time moving into Tier 20. I have a +6 A!Tiki, +1 Effie, and unmerged Grima and L!Hector. All with Fire blessings (during Fire season so I got a small score boost.) Things will obviously change once L!Hector isn't a bonus unit but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

Merges and BST are really the most important factors, but it's also worth noting that three of my units have Aether (for scoring) and two of them have Distant Counter.

I'm doing the same thing as you currently. But I can offer you some tips.

1. Use merged units. If you use units with merge levels, you get more points. Higher merge, more points.
2. Use a bonus unit. The biggest point booster of them all. Using a bonus unit (I believe) doubles the amount points you would normally get without one.
3. Use units with a high BST, or Base Stat Total. Units with a high BST also score more points. Armored units typically have the most.
4. Use expensive skills. The more SP invested into a unit on your Arena Offense team, the more points you will earn.
5. Don't let anybody die in any of the battles. Deaths cost points, and even one death during the entire run will get you knocked out of the higher tiers like 19 and 20.
6. Get kills with bonus units whenever you can. Arena will now give 3 additional points for every enemy you kill with a bonus unit, which can make a huge difference.
7. Confer Blessings. Blessings offer additional stats and more points when used with a Legendary Hero.
