Is BK worth building since Zelgius Exists?

As title states. Is Black Knight worth building since a more min-max'ed version of him exists?

I'm currently considering building a heroic grail unit and I'm severely lacking in the red DC slot. I have a +10 A!Tiki but she hasn't been that useful lately. I've also considered trying to build a H!Myrrh and I can probably get to a +2 or +3 one with my F2P orbs in the next hour or so. The main purpose of this unit would be for arena/AR for armored boots support and a red DC.
Any advice is appreciated.

Yes, because hes free.

He is much easier to merge than Zelgius so I would say that it is worth it. A H!Myrrh would do better in arena scoring if that is your bigger concern and she has armor march in her set so you don’t need the boots (unless you aren’t using an armor team) so all you would need is some DC fodder.

As others have said, yes. Trying to build red five star exclusives as a merge project can be a nightmare and BK is similar enough to Zelgius to use instead.

Zelgius is just not worth to drop so many orbs to +10 anymore. Bec:

1. The meta has shifted to more support units in arena or units that can engage multiple units in AR.
2. Bk has been unchained and can now be +10. Their performance will be near identical.
