Does L!Roy outclass L!Marth?

Don't know if someone already asked this but does L!Roy outclass L!Marth? He has the same stats but with 2 more speed, 5 more res, and -1 hp. He has Marth's weapon effect and DC, and self buffing human Virtue. Marth has Fire Emblem, Binding Sheild(overkill on all dragons that are not blue) and infantry flash(but do they need an open sacred seal spot that badly?). The only time I see Marth beating Roy is against a blue dragon.

Dragon killing aside,
Marth does have his buff boost on his weapon. Meaning Marth still has his A slot to build up even more buffs.
And the Fire Emblem special is a lot stronger than other 2CD specials.
So Marth can deal more damage and stack more stats. And the B skill prevents vantage trouble and generally keeps Marth safe from dragons
While Roy is more allround and can deal with ranged enemies.

Depends on the matchup and what role they're taking.

If we consider "who's the best dragon killer" it's a close one between L!Roy, L!Marth and Alm(he's not part of the question but just saying who are the candidates), L!Roy is better in enemy phase since he has better bulk in this matchup but L!Marth is better in player phase since he got his B-skill.
I could'nt really say who's better but I'm leaning more towards L!Marth you don't really want to take a hit from dragons in the first place and marth has the tool to not get hit and as you said, Marth is better at taking a fight against a blue dragon.

If we consider "Better unit" in general then I'm leaning more towards L!Roy since he's more rounded and can take hits more reliably and has 2 more spd(not might be that much but every spd counts in the spd meta, unless up against armors then spd is irrelevant to them).

in the end it just depends on the playstyle of the player, L!MArth is more of player phase while L!Roy is a mix(Does pretty well in both phases)

While Roy technically has more speed, Marth gets +3 speed on his weapon. I don't think realistically anyone is going to change their default weapon. This makes marth 1 speed faster in comparison.

I think it's the other way around because of Marth's special and, to a lesser extent, B skill.

Plus my personnal opinion is L.Roy's art is as bland as it's possible and L.Marth's one is leagues better.

People who really care about a character’s looks over their skills or even personality are bottom tier tbh
