How do you beat Hector in the Chain Challenges for the latest paralogue ( the one with 6 maps)?
He's such a f**king pain

Get a red sword unit. Masked Marth with her recent Falchion upgrade can tank him.

Probably.

Or use Brave Lyn with Mulagir.

Not gonna lie, totally forgot a majority of people have those 5*. I'll start pumping them out on any recommendations from now on.

Don't have enough dew to upgrade Falchion

If you have any units with Def Ploy (like Arvin) you could soften him up that way. Then hit with Brave Lyn, followed by whatever good sword units you got. I actually have a good vanilLyn with a refined Sol Katti I usually use to take out Hectors in Arena.

Or throw a buffed Tiki at him.

My Arvis made short work of him after debuffing, I think he also had an Atk buff at the time but I'm unsure.

For my second run for the quest I haphazardly slapped a team together that turned out really bad for the challenge. For round 2 my B!Cordelia couldn't actually quad so I baited everyone to get near Hector and indirectly chipped with Savage Blow until she could wipe him out without counter attack.

I've never thought of using Savage Blow like that. That's brilliant.

I've seen some guides with crazy stuff pulled off using savage blow. If you run an archer I highly recommend using both the skill and seal together.

use a red dragon like A tiki.also a bulky blue unit for ellewood

There is a few things you can do to make it easier :

- Triadepte red unit
- Red or green dragons with enough tanking ( tikis / myrrh)
- Red mage can do a number on him if they can burst him or tank 1 hit
- High damage dealing red swords
- Debuffing
- Blade mages

I personnaly debuffed him with saizo and bursted him down with gunnthra.
