How are you preparing for the Black Knight?

We are only just adjusting to the Bravepocalypse and now here comes the Black Knight. How are you preparing for a potential shift in the meta?

Personally, I'm finally building that Red Mage I've been considering for awhile. I decided to go with +RES -SPD Lilina and a straightforward build of TA/Raven/Swordbreaker. This results in her instantly OHKOing most colorless units (including most Brave Lyn builds), OHKOing most Green units, and ORKOing most sword wielders including the Black Knight (she survives his vanilla build with 4 HP - so the margins aren't great considering Fury and Hone Armor). I'm considering sacrificing my Katarina to give her Ploy ATK 3 for more reliable match-ups.

I've also been toying with the idea of inheriting Tobin's Armorslayer+ to someone...but haven't decided who.

So, how about you? Have you been developing any units preemptively?

Salty...but true, Reinhardt remains the master of the meta.

I'm still waiting on my +Atk/-Spd Lillina for a raven swordbreaker build myself but my swordbreaker nowi will make short work if this guy as well

If I pulled +ATK I was considering trying Heavy Blade on her...I still might with Ploy ATK 3... But for now TA/Raven is good enough.

Heavy blade would be awefuk sh has 40 base attack but a Raven tome puts her at 51 and no a skill to buff her for heavy blade and now archers murder her.

Heavy Blade is a super gimmick ability hats honestly not worth running 9 times out of 10.

Probably true but I'm still obsessed with the idea of running it off a ranged unit. ;) It would be better on Sanaki due to her possessing a legendary weapon.

I have prepared a Brave Ike and a Nephenee for him...

Now I'm curious... What build are you using on Brave Ike?

Aether/Bonfire/Ignis
Reposition
Steady Breath
Wrath/QR/Vantage (tough choice here, but will depend on which special to use)
Armor buffs
Quicken Pulse/Hp seal

Nice to see someone else not poopooing DC on Brave Ike. I have the same build except I'm still using Beorc's Blessing. Who are you mainly thinking of for Axebreaker? The Brave Ike mirror? Also, I don't think you're on my friends list my lobstery friend. My code is 3107977876

My Swordbreaker Nowi is prepared to slay him

My +Atk Delhea should be enough hopefully - especially with summoner support ^^

It occurred to me that Azura will be one of his best vanilla checks. I ran it through the damage calculator at kagero charts - she tanked Black Luna quite well thanks to Sapphire Lance+ and hit him for almost half his HP on the counter.
