To summon or not to summon

Got 20 orbs and a 9% on Roys Legendary banner. Basically want any red unit on there, will be fine with any other colour though.

If you still want any red, the only reason not to fire every orb at it is if you want some unit on some other banner (including future banners) more than the units that are currently in reds. 20 orbs is a likely miss, but it's a likely miss on any banner. The same 20 orbs fired at reds here are a better try than on a lot of banners.
