Personally I think your formation is a bit messy, it is still a perfectly good and has its merits. Though swapping WA2000 for a powerful AR (G41, AR15, etc) will achieve higher DPS. Also while using an HG can give better buffs than a SMG, they die very quickly on higher levels if you don't kite enemies.
Overall I prefer and recommend using echelons that focus on one class of DPS unit rather than mixing and matching trying to support two very different classes of DPS. Your style of echelon is often recommended for early game as it will utilise RFs back line target priority to kill more dangerous units, but as the game progresses this will become less useful and kiting will become the most viable survival strategy, a good example of this is CH 5 & 6 night missions where it is near impossible to survive without kiting.
