SABOT Slug

Just picked up a SABOT slug, is there any shotguns that will use this magazine?

Not really. Buckshot is preferable in pretty much every scenario for shotguns.

Here's my question… *why* is the BUCK better than the SABOT? Is the reduction of targets really that much of a detractor that you'd pass up TRIPLE damage plus an accuracy buff?

The issue is that the triple damage only applies to basic attacks. Any skill that relies on the damage stat will ignore the multiplier and just use the base value.

There’s only one shotgun that has any business using Slug ammo and that’s USAS-12.
