Svd vs lee enfield and the correct buffers

It's my first time raising a rf+hg comp and I see alot of people going for wa2000+svd comp. Problem is, I do have svd but have not leveled her up at all. What i do have wa2000+svd level 70+ and dummy linked 4x. Is there a particular stat svd have over lee that i must level her up? Also what which hg should i level up? Im currently leveling up welrod grizzly and stechkin.

It's not really a particular stat that makes SVD used in that comp with WA2k, it's her skill. RoF up is better at dealing with general combat than a firepower boost is.

For most battles a firepower boost rifle echelon is going to end up overkilling a lot which leads to wasted dps. The reason for this is that no matter how much damage a group of dolls takes (either enemy or ally) only one unit in that group can die from one shot.

To be fair the RoF up Rifles aren't really any different in this regard, they just fire again a lot faster which nullifies the problem of overkilling. The story will move on though and as enemies gain higher hp caps the firepower based rifles will stop wasting so much of their dps on overkilling and they'll close the gap which will make Lee, M14 and FN49 (After Mod) much stronger.

With regards to your handguns for the echelon Welrod's pretty much the go to primary tank for a rifle echelon. The problem lies with the other two. Either one is fine but placing them in the optimal position requires pushing the other into a position where they only buff the other handguns.

If you have a Calico(M950A) you can place her in the MT position and just have her swap with Welrod at the start of engagement. The benefit is that since Calico can cap WA2k's RoF on her own you can move Grizzly into a position where she can benefit both of the rifles instead of the handguns. Otherwise you might have to swap grizzly out for someone with better tile buff placement for the off tank position.

Like the previous comment said, SVD and WA2000 are paired because of their similar ROF based skills. In terms of HGs to go with them, you should have Stechkin in the backline between the two RFs and something like Welrod/PPK in front, since Stechkin provides both a decent ROF buff and enough DMG for WA2000 to be able to 2-shot just about any backline enemy, which more or less eliminates the need for both Grizzly and Calico. PPK helps both RFs hit the Crit cap, and Welrod is there for her tanking ability.
