Equipment

Overview

Take note that the skill description in game is very misleading. She forces all allies (not just SMGs and ARs, nor just those on her tiles) to focus on her current target.

AR-18 attempts to be a single-link specialist merged with forced targeting utility. This ends up meaning that her potential 40% bonus damage doesn't really do much as she's not a self-buffer, and all she really does is target single-link enemies and force allies to also target them. While there are certainly many situations where you'd want to eliminate single-link enemies first, there are far better ways of doing this, such as with various types of special targeting. There are several RF mods that already do this, and some other dolls that directly target high-priority enemies while also having good damage output.

All in all, this means that AR-18 is a support AR, like Ribeyrolles, but doesn't bring nearly as much power to the team, so you'd likely want to use something better.

Strengths

Prioritizes Enemies With Few Links

These enemies tend to be high priorities to eliminate in most enemy teams.

Weaknesses

No Damage Self-Buff

As she has no self-buff to damage, she can't really utilize her own targeting, meaning she's only there to buff her allies and force their targeting.

Poor Buffs

Compared to non-mod Ribeyrolles, she just does not provide nearly as many buffs, while Ribeyrolles has a mod that boosts her buffing potential significantly.
