MP-443

Overview

MP-443 is an uncommon handgun that comes with an enemy damage debuffing skill. Her tiles are a really good shape, better than one of her counterparts, G17. Unfortunately due to rarity they do not give the greatest of buffs. She gives low firepower, but at least she gives evasion buffs.

Her skill lowering the damage enemies deal can help shotguns survive an armor check, or a team survive high-pressure situations like Doppelsoldner barrages or Typhon lasers without losing too many links. But these are the rare circumstances where “just kill them faster” is not the easier answer.

If used, MP-443 would mostly be forced to be run on teams that stack armor and ARSMGs that inexplicably want damage reduction. MP-443 is still generally outshined by the likes of Nagant Revolver’s mod or even Tec-9. For more typical situations where focusing on damage output is more important, handguns like Grizzly and SAA are usually better.

From position 4 MP-443’s tile buff can reach every doll in most formations

Evasion Tile Buff

Since MP-443 can buff both tanks from position 4, packing an evasion tile is rather useful.

Weaknesses

Low Base Evasion

71 evasion is below average for a handgun, not that it really matters for where MP-443 should usually be located.

Relatively Bad Offensive Buff

With just 20% firepower on her tiles and no offensive buff on her skill, MP-443 gives less in terms of damage output than even the 2 star Nagant revolver.

Niche Damage Reduction Skill

Lower enemy firepower is a niche that very rarely comes up, making MP-443 a really tentative choice to raise.
