[JP News] 3/29 Stream Recap

Spoiler warning! This will go over the content that was just recently announced for the Japanese version of Touhou Lostword. To be more precise, it will go through content for their 2nd Anniversary, Fantasy Rebirths, Quality of Life changes, merch, MV, and the most recent character to be released on the Japanese server: Hifuu Sagume.

Kasen Ibaraki is the next of the batch of characters who gets a Music Video dedicated to her! Not only that, but the German EDM version of Lostword Chronicle was shown in the stream. JP's first event, Phantom-Human Maid for a Day?!, gets reran for the first time in forever. To commemorate this, they also showed some neat costumes featuring Kosuzu, Akyuu, and Sumireko. Finally, they also showed some neat merchandise like keychains (as shown below) and more.

Remilia and her sister, Flandre get their costumes for their Fantasy Rebirth shown. We also get confirmation on Eirin and Kaguya being the next batch of Fantasy Rebirth characters for March. Finally, Yorihime, Toyohime, Kosuzu, Akyuu, and Suwako get a Fantasy Rebirth that will come at the end of April. All of these characters may get their Fantasy Rebirth soon in Global, so keep your eyes peeled and ready them up!

There's now a visual cue for characters who had their Gauge broken! Not only that, but the pre-effects for entering a stage as well as their Gauge break effects can now be shown on Tower for people who are looking to approach these stages. Full Auto now also gets a rework for Gauge stages! When the enemy has a Gauge, your characters will proceed to use their spell cards from left to right until there are no more enemy gauges. After that, your characters will proceed to use their Last Word as normal.

Phantasm difficulty has been announced for Arena! Arena will also get a nice update with a weekly which enables you to use multiple teams. Finally, a new Fantasy Rebirth enhancement branch has also been teased to be in the works. All of these things will be released on the 2nd anniversary on Touhou Lostword. ZUN will also appear on the April stream thanks to it being their anniversary.

Hifuu Sagume has arrived to the scene. Being a Support Ultra Festival character, she brings a ton of utility to the table. Her skills already show big potential with her restoring barriers and giving 1.0 P to the party to boot. Not to mention, if she gets inflicted with paralysis or blind by the enemy, she would apply the same anomaly to her enemies which synergizes well with her blind and paralysis breaks. On her first spell card, she inflicts 2 paralysis barriers to all enemies as well as restores 2 barriers to the team. On the second spell card, she provides 0.75 P to the party as well as 2 stages of Agility to the party for 3 turns. Finally, her Last Word gives the party a total of 2 stages of Yang ATK, 3 stages of Yang DEF, and 3 stages of CRIT ATK for 2 turns. Overall, Hifuu Sagume is already looking really promising as a character.
