It's that time again for some happy news with Phantasma, Caroline and Michael which means Dev Letter #25 is here! We have a lot to go through, go let's go over all the surprises during the Summer Season!

July 1st 2023 was an awesome day for Anime Expo fans in general, but NextNinja had their own panel for both Grand Summoners and Touhou LostWord. Caroline and Michael even shared some happy news there!

Fantasy Rebirth
Here comes the Fantasy Rebirth news! Firstly, we have another pair of sisters, Benben Tsukumo and Yatsuhashi Tsukumo getting their costumes on August 18th, as well as some new Fantasy Rebirth 2.0 Upgrades for characters such as Yukari Yakumo, Ran Yakumo, Chen, Lily White, Seiran, Youmu Konpaku, Sakuya Izayoi, Fujiwara no Mokou and Koakuma!
Benben and Yatsuhashi Tsukumo's Fantasy Rebirths (and their costumes) available on August 18th!
Also on August 18th comes a plethora of Fantasy Rebirth 2.0 Upgrades!
After that, we can look forward to more future Fantasy Rebirths to come in the next few months, such as the entire Hifuu: Code E9 cast, but split into two halves: E9 Remilia, E1 Flandre and E1 Koakuma on August 25th, with E1 Meiling, E1 Sakuya and E1 Patchouli making their timely arrivals at the start of September!
Speaking of September, Suika Ibuki and Yuugi Hoshiguma are expected to also get their own Fantasy Rebirths at some point in September, but no confirmed date as of now. We only know it will oni be a month from now.
And finally, Tewi Inaba and Sumireko Usami will also be getting this treatment as well during October!
E9 Remilia, E1 Flandre, E1 Koakuma, E1 Sakuya, E1 Patchouli and E1 Meiling will be getting their own Fantasy Rebirths after the Tsukumo sisters!
Suika Ibuki and Yuugi Hoshiguma will be getting Fantasy Rebirths in September 2023!
Sumireko Usami and Tewi Inaba will be getting their own Fantasy Rebirths in October 2023!

Yes, the original Relic Story Card is finally up for grabs again next month!
Tsukasa Kudamaki and Eika Ebisu are preparing for their arrival in the VS Divergent Spirits Ritual Pool! The kuda-gitsune will whisper her way into the pool on August 25th while the stillborn soul sticks with stone stacking until September 14th!
Reimu's Great Exorcism sees some new songs added, being Disillusion (Youmu's MV Song) and Greenwich Debris (yes, that stage theme you've probably heard many times by now)!
We also have some updates regarding Friends and Story Cards in terms of arrivals in the Standard Prayer Pool, as well as Rituals + Exchange Emas.
Saki Kurokoma and Seija Kijin will be in the Standard Prayer Pool
Joon Yorigami and Okina Matara will be in the Guaranteed Ritual Pool + available via Exchange Emas
And more Story Cards will also be in the Standard Prayer Pool! Those are Impregnable Defense (4★), Professional Douser (4★) and Immortal Battle to the Death (5★)!

Gensokyo Tales of Fantasy time later this month! This time, it seems to be a small world, and this tale is illustrated by Mozukuzu!
September and October will be when we get some new events, featuring some characters in costumes we may be familiar with already, like the Fast Food Themed Kappa, Yamawaro and Clerical God, as well as the Spooky Switcheroo Trio of the Grassroots! Both event names are yet to be translated as of this point.
New Features
Next up is a few handy Features and improvements, such as:
A slight Skip button change.
Option to exchange 1000 of a friend's Mirrors of Rebirth for 1 Nameless Mirror.
The Prologue now allows you to enter both your Player Name and Character Name on the same screen.
A small UI improvement is made when a using a filter in the Friend List.
Being able to skip the animation for when you collect new 3★ or 4★ Story Cards.
New Beginner Tasks with an improved explanation on Tasks. Also comes with a light green Beginner Tab.
Login Bonus Skip Button adjustment and Mirror of Rebirth Exchange Feature!
Tutorial Name, Filter, and New 3/4 Star Story Card Prayer Improvements!
