Dev Letter #27 Recap

Dev Letter #27 has just happened, and Phantasma and Michael! It's another month of...Spooky News? Anyways, when it comes to reposts, for every 500 reposts, we get 5 Seal Crystals and 1500 Coins, with the moonlit sky being the limit! With it being spooky season, let's get into all the Happy, or Spooky News!

It's time to jump in to the teased event starring the Grassroots Youkai Network Trio that we have been preparing for during the past few months and it is called Scrambled Youkai Network! Wakasagihime, Sekibanki, and Kagerou's switcheroo costumes, as well as other pre-existing costumes will also be getting an Event Bonus here too!

Meanwhile, another Divine Paper Doll is on its way via the Happy Halloween Login Bonus, and all you need to do to obtain it is to log in for 10 consecutive days between October 12th and October 26th!

In addition, a Happy Halloween Forever Prayer will be available for the same amount of time, and it looks like there are some A-Series Friends up for grabs this time!

Next up, Fantasy Rebirth and what to look forward to! On October 19th, Sumireko Usami and Tewi Inaba as well as their costumes are finally arriving! In addition, we have more Fantasy 2.0 Upgrades coming at this time too, and as well as Tewi, we have Kaguya Houraisan, Kasen Ibaraki, Nemuno Sakata and Momiji Inubashiri getting more enhancements! You could say one of the upgrades are a little shocking, and let's just say up to this point, Kasen would have killed for certain upgrades!

Meanwhile, we have some Fantasy Rebirths to look forward to after this month, such as more Ultra Festival ones in the form of the Four Temples! Coming on November 10th is Watatsuki no Yorihime (B3) and Watatsuki no Toyohime (B3), the Temples of Peace and Plenty and exactly 1 week later comes the Temples of Truth and Love, Sagume Kishin (B3) and Kaguya Houraisan (B3)!

Meanwhile, Toyosatomimi no Miko and Hata no Kokoro are still planned to arrive, and this time, we now know what their costumes look like! However, December is gearing up to be the month of Clownpiece, Hecatia Lapislazuli and Junko getting their chance for Rebirth!

As well as the new event above, we have more content updates, whether it related to Hakugyoku Arena Enemies + Clear Campaign, Floor 320 of Scarlet Devil Tower on the horizon, another installment of Gensokyo Tales of Fantasy and possibly the most exciting of them all, a brand new Elemental EX Stage in the form of Metal EX!

There was an issue when if your Friend/Story Card count reached its max limit, an Error Message in the form of "?" came up instead of the normal one, but that will be fixed now.

In addition, a few improvements are being made, such as being able to perform Prayers even when your Friends/Story Card count has reached its limit. In addition, there will be some UI readability improvements when it comes to the Friend Upgrade section.

Last month saw the turn of Kaguya Houraisan (Moonlit Festival!) meaning that it was only a matter of time for Reisen to have her turn, and here we are, as Reisen Udongein Inaba (Moonlit Festival!) arrives to complete the festival and join her fellow Eientei Princess!

This version of Reisen Udongein Inaba will be coming with Rank II Yin ATK, a 33% increase in damage if her attacks either resist or are effective against said enemy, turns Burn and Paralyze anomalies inflicted onto her into Yin ATK buffs, inflicts multiple layers of Burn and has a Moon-based Last Word with both Hard and Slice bullets!

Just like with L80 Kaguya last month, L80 Reisen is getting a VS Divergent Spirits Stage dedicated to her, this one being against Junko (L1) for her signature card, Reisen's Moonlit Festival! We also have a bit of a roadmap to look forward to when it comes the rest of this month's VS Divergent Spirits Stages.

As usual now, we have another month of updates in the Standard Prayer Pool for Friends and Story Cards, as well as the Ritual/Ema Pool!

And finally, we are getting a little roadmap of some rerunning Prayers and a special 48 Hour Ultra Festival Collection Prayer available from October 12th to October 31st with a Step-UP Prayer and Shared Exchange Points, and there are a lot of Friends there we may recognize from Chapter 4!

Possibly a long time coming, but it's finally happening! We are getting a Buddy System which is a way of interacting with other players! This is currently under development and is expected to come out during the 2.5 Anniversary Update. They will be able to see your Profile Comment as well as use a Friend of your Friends as Helpers in battle!

As we are nearing the end point of this Dev Letter, we have some 2.5 Anniversary Campaigns, a Discord Exclusive BGM Collection Vote lasting for just over 2 weeks after the Dev Letter, and will be getting a new MV Project for Toyosatomimi no Miko that will be coming out in late October!
