Welcome one and all, to the 31st Touhou LostWord JP Live Stream! 2 months ago, we were fortunate enough to have ELEMENTAS and Rute from A-One, as part of the 3 year anniversary stream, but this time was where we welcomed Tokyo Active NEETS whose music has been used for multiple character themes in this game, but most notably for Yuyuko Saigyouji’s MV “Boundary of Time”, which was as jazzy as one would expect!
Now with that out of the way, as always, if you do not want to be spoiled in terms of what content is on the way, feel free to stop reading! But with that said, let’s get into everything, with the link to the JP Live Stream below!
Boundary of (back in) Time
Normally, we’d dive right in to new MV Project news, but with our very special guests here with us, let’s go back in time to the Boundary of Time MV! In the live stream, they showcase a live performance they did with vocalist Ito Kanako, as well as how the art of the MV Yuyuko came to be, from its rough sketches to the final product!
We also are reminded of the following earlier music being available to stream on multiple platforms, as well as even more music accessible via the DAM Karaoke app!
MV Project News
Following the footsteps of the tei-tei-te-teiriffic Patchouli Knowledge MV, (TT) Precious Words finally comes Junko’s MV, titled No Name, No Life! This is our 20th MV now, and both Junko’s art and her MV here are pure bliss! We have the MV in question as well as the Video Letter from Fuchigami Mai below!
"No name, no life
So my feelings should remain nameless
Hidden in unending rain
Enveloped, wanting to live, but suffering
If the Lost Word is a lost world
Even hopes become fantasy
Full of emotion, you shouted
That name"
New Character Reveal
I hope everyone is having a good Morsing, because our 8th Marisa Kirisame variant and our 9th Relic is here! Marisa Kirisame (Night Splitting Light) rides in with a cool looking motorcycle and Reimu’s iconic ribbon, and she is a Speed Class Friend who will be arriving in the JP version by June 30th!

Chapter 2 EX1
Fantasy Rebirth
It’s that time of the month again for Fantasy Rebirth news, and as mentioned last month, Okina Matara, Mai Teireida, Satono Nishida and Aunn Komano are next in line for their Mirror stages! But who is next up? Well you wretched devils, looks like fate has decided the entire cast from Hifuu: Code E9 will be our next batch of Friends to get their turn for Mirrors of Rebirth! Remilia Scarlet (E9), Flandre Scarlet (E1), Sakuya Izayoi (E1), Patchouli Knowledge (E1), Koakuma (E1) and Hong Meiling (E1) all have July 2023 to look forward to!
Following the percussion of a fellow Tsukumogami’s costume revealed last month comes Benben and Yatsuhashi Tsukumo’s new costumes! Not only do they get a new look, but so do their precious instruments! But for the oni enjoyers, you will be pleased to hear that Suika Ibuki and Yuugi Hoshiguma’s Rebirth Costumes will be revealed next month!
Now what about the Fantasy Rebirth 2.0 announcements? Well Sakuya, Yukari, Youmu and Lily White return to pick up a few more upgrades, but Yukari’s shikigami, Ran Yakumo and Chen join in on the fun too!
For more specifics on who is getting what kind of upgrades, here is what to expect from them below:
Events
But what will we have to look forward to next month? First will be 2 reruns for previous events: Dark Nurse of News (Tengu Costumes!) and Gensokyo of the Dead, (Nurse costumes for Eirin, Remilia, Yoshika and Tojiko!).
And now for those new costumes! Sunny Milk, Luna Child and Star Sapphire are all getting new costumes for this new event! But that Doremy…yes, we aren’t dreaming, that is a new costume for Doremy, despite how unconventional it is! I wonder what her expressions will be like though.
Miscellaneous News
Now for a variety of other news that was also mentioned in this stream. Firstly, some slight Quality of Life improvements such as being able to convert a character’s Mirrors of Rebirth to Nameless Mirrors, being able to reroll again without having to start all over, and there will be a slight UI improvement when it comes to the Login Bonus Skip feature.
If you were one of those players that linked your account to Twitter, unfortunately, it will no longer be possible to do so by June 30th, so using other methods of keeping your account safe such as a transfer code and Google are options to consider.
To blitz through some other various stuff, Kanako enjoyers now also get to experience Blue Goodbyes in the Reimu’s Great Exorcism minigame, Tokyo Active NEETS tried their hand at this minigame, a trailer for the next Gensokyo Tales of Fantasy that is due to come next month in JP and Everyone Wins Campaign Rewards are finally being given out to all participants when it turns July in JST time! Those God Crystals, Seal Crystals and Exchange Ema will be very appreciated!
