Should You Pull?

If you’re missing a stunning Sun breaker, this may be worth considering. Day and night can be perceived as two sides of the same coin, two polar opposites times of the day, and some will prefer day over night and vice versa, but the contrast of day and night brings together two returning Festival Prayers with Shared Exchange Points featuring the embodiments of light and dark: A6 variants of Sunny Milk and Rumia. We also get to see Ascending Step-UPs on both of these Festival Prayers too, starting off with 60 God Crystals and finishing at 460. For now though, we will be going over the fairy in the Scarlet Devil Mansion!

A6 Sunny Milk is quite a unique unit, especially considering she is a Festival Friend. Firstly, every single bullet in her attacks are Yang (like how A6 Rumia’s bullets are all Yin) which means no Yin bullets are wasted here. However, her uniqueness comes in her massive amount of Sun breaks (6 Sun breaks on Solo Spell Card 2) accompanied by some Blind inflicts and breaks to help back up the sole Sun element like with her All-Targeting Spell Card 1. Needless to say, A6 Sunny Milk has what it takes to fill the Sun/Blind break roles, but one thing she has that makes her sought after is her Stun utility! The same Sun-Only Spell Card also has the potential to Stun an enemy at 1P, which is already huge to pull off a guaranteed Stun, but she can Stun all her enemies with her Last Word at 3P as well! No wonder she is nicknamed “Stunny Milk”, because she is the best at it.

There is more to this fairy maid though, such as some sneaky ways to support teammates, albeit few, which are her Accuracy buff via Skill 3 and even some Spirit Power after her Last Word, being handy if her Last Word isn’t used on the last turn of the stage. She can also increase the team’s Yang DEF whenever she Grazes, and that’s it for ways to buff the team really. That said, let’s not forget she is a Debuff-Class Friend, and that means she will have ways of debuffing one way or another, mainly via Yang DEF and CRIT DEF and does a good job at keeping the debuffs coming. This is also because some of these debuffs are available on her Skills, and all of her Skills have reasonably low cooldown rates (4 turns for Skills 1 and 2, 3 turns for Skill 3) which work in her favor here.

Now as for standing as a Debuff Friend, obviously A6 Sunny Milk is going to be lacking all kinds of buffs like Yang ATK as well as raw power, but at the same time, she does still bring some valuable utility that sets are apart from many other Friends in the game, let alone Festival Friends (even if it’s at the cost of general damage potential). She also doesn’t have a strong Killer range which further enforces the general lack of damage, but those CRIT DEF debuffs could benefit allies instead. Either way, Yang Friends that will hit Killers with ease will appreciate this fairy maid’s net of tricks!

Now as unique as the utility that A6 Sunny Milk can bring is, it is still very much possible to manage just fine without it if you have other friends to cover what she can. Other strong Sun breakers out there include E1 Sakuya, F1 Reimu, A6 Yuuka and L1 Parsee, meaning that if that is a factor here, those kinds of units are more than capable of filling that void. If it’s Blind inflicts/breaks you’re worried about, look to units like S5 Rin, B3 Komachi, B3 Eiki, S2 Satori, or a certain A6 Friend whose darkness compliments the light side, Finally, for Stuns, you can’t go wrong with some friends who have some form of this upon an enemy at 3P like C3 Reimu, C3 Marisa, H5 Yuuka, A7A Sakuya and A7B Sakuya, but those who can do it a little better include L80 Sakuya and A11 Satori. However, A6 Sunny Milk is able to do a very good job with creating a combination of breaks, utility and debuffs in her kit while also standing out from the crowd with what she is capable of, and that definitely makes her valuable in her own right!

With that said, good luck to everyone wanting to see the light in their Prayers for a special fairy maid!

Quick Overview

A6 Sunny Milk is a Debuff-Class Friend with vast Sun breaks, helpful Blind breaking, and can debuff the Yang DEF and CRIT DEF of her foes while also Stunning them in their tracks.

Here Comes the Sun

A6 Sunny Milk has a large amount of Sun breaks she can abuse against enemies weak to Sun, mainly demonstrated by her Spell Card 2 with 6 Sun breaks potentially cast on one enemy. To back up this sole element, she can also help a good amount with Blind Breaks, especially since she can inflict 2 layers of Blind to all foes via Skill 1 and Spell Card 1, breaking them all with her Spell Card 1 at 2P, Last Word at 3P or Focus Shot at 1P.

Stunning Fairy

When it comes to Stunning enemies, A6 Sunny Milk does it better than the competition. With an easily accessible Spell Card 2 at 1P to stop a foe in their tracks as well as a Last Word relieving the need to Graze for the turn at 3P, it’s so easy to use this to your advantage.

Sneaky Support Under the Sun

While it’s not her main focus, it is still appreciated, as a small Accuracy buff on Skill 3 (which has a 3 Turn Cooldown Rate) can be the difference to ensuring the team’s attacks land. On top of that, once using her Last Word, the team gets 1.00 Spirit Power, so this could really come in handy if A6 Sunny Milk’s Last Word is used before the final turn.

Generally Struggles in Power

Whether it’s her Killers struggling to kit a wide array of foes or her lack of offensive buffs in general, dealing high damage will be something A6 Sunny Milk will struggle with. However, this does somewhat come with the territory of her being a debuffer, with some rather effective Yang DEF and CRIT DEF debuffs that other allies can definitely capitalize on.
