Should You Pull?

Worth considering if you need a strong damage dealer, otherwise bunny hop, skip and jump ahead with caution.

Raseira! Raseira! The second serving of the Moonlit Festival has introduced us to the latest Relic, L80 Reisen Udongein Inaba who is available in the Ra-Ra-Rai Rabbit Relic Prayer! Coming with 2 brand new Story Cards, an Ascending Step UP (300 God Crystals on Step 1, 600 God Crystals on Steps 2-5) and an increasing chance of our Lunatic Rabbit bouncing up by 20% each time (120% on Step 1, 200% on Step 5). However, it is recommended that you do not go out of your way to spend God Crystals on this Prayer unless you have thousands of God Crystals or are a huge Reisen fan.

This Attack-Class Friend is quite simply here to deal big damage on her enemies, and she has multiple ways of strengthening that. From her ways of maxing out her own Yin ATK while providing great Yin ATK support for the team, to Hard and Slice Scaling helping, to a strong Killer Range, to even a little Yin ATK II on Skill 3 helping out in that regard! In terms of her Killers, she has access to Parallel Presence, Mastermind (LW), God, Divine Spirit, Yaoyorozu no Kami, Dragon Kin, Moon Related, Lunarian, Moon Rabbit, Moon Emissary, Moon Enemy, Gensokyo, Lunar Capital and Heaven, which is mainly carried by Gensokyo but is still great for her.

As great as she can be with damage, L80 Reisen is unfortunately struggling with CRIT ATK buffs. While her ability allows her to gain CRIT ATK from anomaly inflictions, and she can also debuff the CRIT DEF of her enemies, her CRIT ATK buffing potential is still a bit limited aside from a few bullet lines, which may mean it’s a bit difficult to fully take advantage of her strong Killers. In addition, her Yin DEF and Agility could be capitalized on further in terms of reaching high damage, so since those are lacking too, those are ways to bolster the bunny’s damage further.

As for elements and breaking, like her MV counterpart, it’s a bit situational but L80 Reisen has to deal with this for both anomalies and elements. On the elemental side, she can benefit from a 33% boost if her enemies resist or are weak to her elements. That said, L80 Reisen does have to juggle 4 elements which may work against her when it comes to focusing on a specific element. One would want to have a clear focus on 2 elements on her significant attacks, but going from an Earth + Wood Spell Card 1, to an All-Fire Spell Card 2, to a Last Word consisting of mostly Moon with a bit of Earth does have its inconsistencies and may be an issue when it comes to breaking, even if factoring in L80 Kaguya’s unique effect as potential support. As for the anomaly side, that will decimate an enemy if it works accordingly. This is because her Skill 1 inflicts 3 layers of Burn on all enemies and her Solo Spell Card 2 inflicts another 4 onto a specific enemy. Unfortunately, her only way to break the Burn Barriers of all enemies is via her Last Word at 3P, but her Last Word would be more ideal for damage. Aside from that, we just have her Solo Focus Shot and Solo Spell Card 2, the latter being capable of full-breaking an enemy at as low as 2P thanks to being able to inflict an extra 4 Burn anomalies via Pre-ATK. That said, while this is great on a single enemy, it might be awkward against multiple enemies.

Like last month, this Relic Prayer comes with 2 Story Cards, a 5★ and a 4★ card but this time, they are both new! The 4★ one is called The Butterfly and the Firefly with a 30% boost in Fire Bullets which is decent for a 4★ card, but not one to go out of your way for. However, the new 5★ Story Card called Wakey-Wakey can actually prove to be helpful for L80 Reisen as not only does it add a Barrier for the team, but also give them 2 stages of Yin DEF, which is good for boosting her own Hard Scaling damage. It also serves as a pretty good Yin stat stick in general, and while we already have Barrier-restoring cards already, this one has its little niche too, and maybe 1 copy for 50 Prayers wouldn’t hurt? Either way, L80 Reisen remains in focus here.

Featured Story Card "Wakey-Wakey"!

Featured Story Card "The Butterfly and the Firefly"!

Needless to say, L80 Reisen works amazingly well with L80 Kaguya, and will definitely shine in her own right if you just need someone to deal high damage in the right situations. However, if you already have damage or already have L80 Kaguya, you might actually not need to go out of your way for the Lunatic Rabbit here, and of course, that 2.5 Anniversary is only a month away and understandably some people may be apprehensive about who could be arriving during then. Obviously none of this should discourage anyone who is a loyal Reisen fan who is looking to get themselves their 5th variant of Reisen Udongein Inaba, especially because she will be a strong addition to the collection of bunnies. That said, if you do not have thousands of God Crystals at your disposal, please be very cautious about the Step-UP Prayer, because it will most likely not work in your favor. Otherwise, people with 1750 Seal Crystals who have been waiting for this moment will absolutely take joy in this moment and treat this like a Moonlit Festival of their own!

With another Moonlit Festival to hop along to, best of luck to the party members that have their Lunatic Red Eyes on the prize when it comes to this geared up Lunatic Rabbit!

Quick Overview

L80 Reisen Udongein Inaba is an Attack-Class Friend bouncing in with Yin ATK II buffs, a mix of Hard and Slice scaling and massive damage potential.

Secret Weapon of Support

With team support, L80 Reisen is actually amazing when it comes to racking up those Yin ATK buffs for the team. Skills 2 and 3 provide a collective total of 4 stages, 3 boosts add 3 more stages and even something like Spell Card 1 can almost max it out instantly. Needless to say she is great when it comes to quick bursts of Yin ATK, but she also benefits the team with 0.75 Spirit Power via Skill 3, and if they count, the debuffs on her enemies that include Yin DEF and CRIT DEF can come in useful too.

Smartguns Blazing

L80 Reisen is a damage dealing machine whether it comes to Killers being as strong as they are, Hard + Slice Scaling, and of course, her great offensive capability in general. The aforementioned Yin ATK buffs, her benefits from Burn anomalies that add more Yin ATK and CRIT ATK for herself, and of course, Yin ATK II.

Aim, Ready, Fire…Burn?

Not only does L80 Reisen benefit from Burn anomalies for offensive buffs, but she manages to prove she can break 7 Burn anomalies on a single enemy with her Spell Card 2. This is on a single target though which might be awkward if you want to focus on multiple enemies as her Last Word is her only All-Targeting anomaly breaking attack, which will most likely be used for damage. However, this can be great on a single enemy, but otherwise, it is also an option to treat the Burn anomalies like another way of debuffing Yin DEF.

4 Elements to Juggle

Not having as much of a focus on elements is a bit of an issue, with Spell Card 1 being a mix of Wood and Earth, Spell Card 2 being fully Fire and her Last Word being mainly Moon with a bit of Earth. Having a boost in power when the enemy either resists or is weak to her elements is helpful, but breaking is just a bit awkward on the elemental side, as if the anomaly side of things above wasn’t enough.

Slightly Misses Out on Key Buffs for Offense

As amazing as her damage potential is, L80 Reisen not getting CRIT ATK buffs outside of her Burn anomaly buffs and occasional bullet lines, as well as the CRIT DEF debuffs here and there, it’s a bit of an inconvenience to not be able to fully take advantage of her Killers on her own, but that can be covered by Story Cards or other Friends relatively easily. Other ways to help with damage since her Hard and Slice Scaling is a factor would be to buff her Agility and Yin DEF further.
