Hakurei Shrine Anniversary

All of Gensokyo was busy preparing for the annual celebrations, and Reimu and Marisa were no exceptions. This year's feast came with a twist-a competition to see who could bring the most delectable dish! There's nothing like a heated competition to get everyone in the mood to celebrate.

As Reimu wondered what to make, Aunn burst out, "Meat, meat, meat!" which was met with Clownpiece's cries of "A dish spicier than the flames of Hell!" But Reimu didn't agree with either suggestion, seeing as both were far too predictable.

Having returned from spying on the competition, an anxious Marisa came in and said, "Reimu, this ain't good." She explained that Moriya Shrine was recreating cuisine from the outside world, Nemunoki was preparing a full-course meal from the mountain's delicacies, and the Scarlet Devil Mansion was cooking up a meat dish that far surpassed "extravagant." Not to mention Miyoi, Mystia, and Alice, whose spreads looked more beautiful than any jewels Marisa had seen.

Without a clue as to what to make, Reimu and Marisa began to panic. Just then, Kasen strolled in. "Our savior!" squealed the two, sending Kasen into quite the fluster. Kasen calmed down after hearing their explanation and agreed to help them. And so she set off in hunt of some ingredients that are hardly ever seen in Gensokyo...

Kasen returned and cooked up what she'd procured, making for a rare sight indeed in this ocean-less Gensokyo. Fish, shellfish, and all manner of other seafood delights glimmered brighter than any gemstone in Reimu and Marisa's eyes. They were dying for a taste, but Kasen insisted they wait until everyone had arrived. In a flash, the two dashed off and began rounding up all the guests.
