Scarlet Devil Mansion

The Scarlet Devil Mansion is a scarlet-colored Western-style mansion with few windows. Everyone in Gensokyo knows that it is the home of the Scarlet Devil sisters.

The mansion is said to have been transported to Gensokyo from the outside. Perhaps that is why it looks so different from its surroundings. The mistress of the mansion does not seem to mind though.

The Scarlet Devil Mansion has a unique culture separate from youkai and human culture, with many strange creatures like mandrakes and hobgoblins inside. It also has fairy maids instead of human ones... That said, most of the work is done by Sakuya alone.

You should be careful if you plan on going to the Scarlet Devil Mansion. It would be a good idea to ask Meiling the guard to let you in instead of trying to sneak in. Otherwise, you might be mistaken for a thieving rat and get exterminated, or you might end up being punished by Sakuya along with Meiling.

Remilia's sister Flandre lives in the basement of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. She spends most of her time in her room. During this Lost Word Incident with the Seal Crystals, she will probably find it hard to stay in after finding out about you. You might spot her outside her room and even outside the mansion as well.
