Secret Outing

Flandre Scarlet has spent hundreds of years imprisoned in the basement of the Scarlet Devil Mansion. However, details of her imprisonment are unknown, with some saying she locked herself down there. Whatever the case, you never hear about her being particularly sad about her current situation.

Some people say it was Remilia Scarlet who imprisoned her little sister, Flandre. Then again, she's never confirmed such a thing, and the two of them seem to get on really well. Remilia doesn't let Flandre leave the mansion without permission, but perhaps that has something to do with how much she appears to adore her little sister.

In the basement, every day was the same as the last. Flandre was forced to live peacefully, unable to destroy things. But the moment Flandre's discontent began to build, Remilia came and took her out of the mansion. Had they known, one of the mansion residents would've been surprised, another would've been shocked, and yet another would've been worried. That's why this venture outside was kept between the two sisters.

Remilia was worried about whether her gleeful little sister would cause trouble while they were out. But this outing was to help Flandre blow off steam, and if there wasn't a little trouble, she wouldn't be able to do that. At first, Remilia's head was filled with doubts, but it seemed seeing her sister enjoying herself was enough to make her forget all about them.

The two sisters spent the whole day flying around Gensokyo without a care, causing a little trouble and leaving people scratching their heads wherever they stopped by. After they returned to the mansion, they both received a light scolding, but that didn't seem to bother them. The two of them have a secret outing journal, you see? One they store safe and secure in their hearts. And at this rate, they'll soon set out to fill another page.
