Botzu's Quick Evaluation

+ Talent: Attacks will do increased minimum damage if the enemy is 2 tiles ahead of self, as opposed to the normal 5% minimum. This allows her to provide physical DPS against extremely high DEF enemies.
= Close-Range Sniper Archetype
- Her Talent is only useful against very high DEF enemies as she has naturally high ATK and goes over the minimum versus most opponents
- Very poor skill uptime

Operator Overview

Aciddrop used to live her life in the vein of an Avril Lavigne song: young, wild, and free, tearing about on her skateboard and taking each day by storm. Unfortunately, she made the mistake of getting involved in the dealings of the gangs who run Columbia’s underground, and they ensured she contracted Oripathy and was exiled from her home. As a girl with a strong sense of justice, Aciddrop wasn’t going to take this lying down. She joined Rhodes Island as a 4* Close Range Sniper, registering her abilities to increase her minimum damage, make multiple fast shots on her hand crossbow, and ride her skateboard as her tools for success.

Many Snipers have trouble with high-DEF targets. Aciddrop has less trouble than most due to her Talent, Slideshot Technique, which ensures that she will always deal minimum damage equal to a certain percentage of her ATK, no matter how high her target’s DEF is. As a Close Range Sniper, Aciddrop has pretty high base ATK, so her minimum damage is pretty good. She capitalizes on this with her Skills: Fancy Shot is a large ASPD boost, and Trigger Time is a small ATK buff that also causes Aciddrop’s attacks to deal two hits instead of one. By firing lots of arrows into her target quickly, Aciddrop intends to make the most of her minimum damage, stacking it up multiple times in a short timeframe.

Feathering armored opponents with a zillion crossbow bolts is a fun strategy, but it has its drawbacks. Aciddrop’s Talent is most effective when enemies are in the two grids directly in front of her; if they’re not in this range, her minimum damage percentage drops noticeably. Her Skills are also penalized for their powerful effects with short durations and long cooldowns, leading to low Skill uptime overall. As a Close Range Sniper, Aciddrop also suffers from high DP cost, a relatively small attack range, and slower ASPD than an Anti-Air Sniper. Speaking of Anti-Air, don’t forget that Aciddrop doesn’t prioritize aerial enemies! You can’t count on her to target an armored drone over a horde of weak ground enemies.

While she does have multiple drawbacks, Aciddrop should not be underestimated. As a 4* unit, she is accessible and cheap to upgrade, and she has a monstrous ATK stat for a 4* unit, even beating out some higher-rarity Operators. Despite their limitations, her Skills have great burst potential, and her Talent is actually less restrictive than other members of her archetype. Keep her in the thick of the action to accommodate her short attack range and your enemies won’t know what hit ‘em.

Note: This unit does not have Mastery grades. This means the unit is generally not one worth spending the resources of Mastery on. However this write-up should help with skill selection, should you want to use the unit regardless.

Aciddrop's niche can be useful if you're doing more meme-y or niche clears, where you often lack the better options, but her damage is just too low for general gameplay when so many better options exist. If you want to play around with her though, her S2 has far higher damage and is the much better target for Mastery since the double hits synergize with her talent.

Profile

A street girl of Columbia, born to a normal working-class family. Her parents are both truck drivers and often work through the night, pushing Aciddrop out to the streets at a young age. From practicing skateboarding in her spare time after school to becoming a champion at local skateboarding tournaments, Aciddrop has become a renowned street icon throughout the city, and her success has drawn countless haters in the process. During a deliberate fight, Aciddrop was infected with Originium dust, later coming to Rhodes Island to seek treatment.

Clinical Analysis

Increase Trust to 25.
Imaging tests have shown the outlines of her internal organs to be indistinct due to abnormal shadows. Originium granules have been detected in her circulatory system, confirming her to be infected with Oripathy.

[Cell-Originium Assimilation] 4%
Operator Aciddrop's Oripathy is currently still mild, and no Originium crystals have been found on the surface of the body.

[Blood Originium-Crystal Density] 0.15u/L
Aciddrop was infected as the product of manmade accident. Fortunately, the amount of Originium dust she inhaled was minute and the infection is being handled appropriately. No trend of deterioration present.

Miss Aciddrop is an extremely 'hip' girl. This is not solely due to her interest in skateboarding, graffiti, and rap, but also due to her strong temperament. This is reflected through her open-minded attitude towards all things in life— even when undergoing a series of examinations for her Oripathy, Miss Aciddrop would only lament that she had to postpone her cycling trip, as if her free-spirited travels were of greater importance than her condition.
By the way, Miss Aciddrop is not 'interested' in street culture. According to her own account, she was actually quite famous in her hometown prior to becoming infected: she had won many local skating competitions, children all wanted to learn how to skate from her, and she shared sibling-like bonds with some of the street artists there. —Though I first thought this was simply the boasting of a street girl, we discovered that a certain line of a famous, trendy sports brand really had plans to feature her as a model. This certainly surprised us.

During her operator assessment exam, Miss Aciddrop demonstrated an unexpected talent for sniping— strictly speaking, a very flashy talent. Though the mobility granted from being able to shoot while on a skateboard is of dubious value in actual combat, this Liberi's agility caught many operators off guard. 'It's like she's performing for a crowd,' one operator from the HR Department remarked.
However, let this not overshadow the fact that Miss Aciddrop's proficiency with a hand crossbow is not inferior to her skill on the skateboard. It is said that she learned these skills from an old local policeman. As a student, Aciddrop was report to the police for 'excessive graffiti,' and was chased around three blocks by an old, seemingly-weak policeman. Afterwards, she was subjected to a scolding that was dozens of minutes long. After such incidents 'accidentally occurred several more times,' scolding soon turned into chatter, and the kindhearted old policeman seemed to take pity upon Aciddrop, for her parents were almost never home, leaving her to fend for herself. Intentionally or otherwise, the old policeman let his daughter become friends with Aciddrop, since the two of them were the same age. It is this daughter who first taught Aciddrop how to skate.
'Of course, the pupil surpassed the teacher, eh?' Miss Aciddrop would happily proclaim.

Archive File 3

Aciddrop's hometown is located in a rather remote location in Columbia. The vast land and undeveloped economy there were rich breeding grounds for the gray market to flourish. The Siracusan Mafia, local gangs, and large merchants frequently made their way in and out, and though this shady area was kept relatively orderly, the general public security is far from ideal. In order to give the young and energetic children a means to protect themselves, after hesitating again and again, the old policeman taught Aciddrop the basic techniques to operate a hand crossbow, and also made a simple weapon for her— after all, he believed that Aciddrop has a strong sense of justice and was not the kind of child who would do bad things with a weapon.
Unfortunately, there were some issues with Aciddrop's loose definition of justice. During an unexpected auto accident, the brave Aciddrop unintentionally destroyed a gang's illegal Originium trading plan, triggering retaliation from the affected gang members. During a brawl that was disguised as a case of school bullying, gang members who were even younger than Aciddrop sprinkled Originium dust onto her.

However, Aciddrop is not one to dwell on the past, demonstrating the perseverance and strength that her youth affords her. This perseverance has supported her to face the painful aspects of life, or in other words, allowed her to take her mind off from the pain. Perhaps one day, after Miss Aciddrop's Originium is effectively suppressed, she will choose to return home. Even if she can no longer take off her identity as an Infected, she feels as if she must complete the journey she failed to finish.
'A toast to freedom, a toast to onion rings, and a toast to myself.' —Excerpt from a speech made by Miss Aciddrop on her first day at the dorms, when she threw a cocktail party using carbonated drinks rather than liquor.

Upgrade to Elite LV2.
Recently... There have been some bizarre rumors aboard Rhodes Island. As we are fairly tolerant of various cultures, pop culture among the youth is, of course, rather interesting. However, due to invisible individuals playing super loud hip-hop, graffiti appearing out of thin air, and a skateboarding trend that has spread like wildfire across younger operators and patients alike... If possible, shouldn't we try to dial things down a bit? What do you all think? —The 'suggestion' of a highly-respected logistics operator to young operators such as Ethan, Aciddrop, and Vigna

However, after refugees were rescued from the ruins of a Catastrophe area, you all tagged 'Never say die' on the walls of the ruins. I can't say I'm not a fan. —A subsequent word of appreciation added by the respected logistics operator

Appointed as Assistant No problem, Doctor. I've got your back.
Talk 1 How do I aim while I'm skating? It's real simple, want me to show you? Here, put your hand on mine.
Talk 2 Way back when, I, like a lot of my friends, took pride in being different. But after I became infected, I realized that alone wasn't cool. Life isn't something that you should let a little bit of Originium dust control, you gotta take charge yourself.
Talk 3 An old cop taught me how to shoot with a crossbow, and his daughter taught me how to skate. As for how to put the two together... that's called being self-taught.
Talk after Promotion 1 Don't get me wrong, skateboarding is just one of my hobbies... and the first way I had to really find myself. The real exciting part comes after that though, wanna hear?
Talk after Promotion 2 Why'd I want to become a combat operator...? Doctor, what do you think is most important for us giggling and laughing 'street gangsters?' Of course it's freedom. I'm willing to fight for freedom, so that's why I'm fighting for Rhodes Island.
Talk after Trust Increase 1 I have a lot of regrets about becoming Infected, such as the graffiti mural at the park that I left half-finished. Also, I can't eat any more of that old cop's secret-formula onion rings, huh? That's about it.
Talk after Trust Increase 2 I came to Rhodes Island with the mindset of getting my illness treated. Thought it'd be some stuffy place that reeked of disinfectant where everyone would be confined to their rooms... But man, I was surprised to find out, even though tagging isn't allowed inside the ship and all, that Ethan guy... Actually, nevermind.
Talk after Trust Increase 3 I found a way to express myself through donut hamburger combo meals, skateboarding, and hip-hop competitions. How 'bout you, Doctor? If you get burnt out, you should come kick it with me and Vigna. We'll just... hang out. Hanging out is in our DNA. Gotta respect it.
Idle If you're tired, just go rest. I'll be here.
Onboard Aciddrop, Operator. This skateboard here is a piece of registered equipment, yeah. If you have any problems, just give me a holler.
Watching Battle Record Damn, that's cool.
Promotion 1 A promotion, huh? Thanks. The last time this happened was when I just won the Crab Cup, huh?
Promotion 2 That old geezer originally taught me to use a crossbow so I could protect myself from the chaos on the streets. Who would've thought that one day, I'd be using it to protect the freedom of the Infected?
