Bassline is very similar to Defender Nearl and thus their assessment ends up similar. He is a solid unit that forms a natural bridge across rarities and represents a meaningful impact over Gummy. However, Gummy is an extremely efficient unit for what she costs, so those resources tend to be better spent elsewhere. Still, Bassline and Nearl both represent reasonable upgrades should you be looking for something a bit outside the typical "insane DPS" promotions.

As with Nearl and similar skills across the Guardian archetype, his S1 is his best skill. It provides strong and consistent healing that allows him to sustain both himself and others against reasonable amounts of pressure without downtime concerns. Make special note of the breakpoint at S1M1 which drops a full SP off of the cost; a valuable upgrade on skills such as these.

His S2 won't be worth Mastery for most players, but is worth a look for particularly advanced niche players. It is a powerful stall skill along the lines of Nearl and Hung's S2s. His HPS is comparatively lower, however the duration lasts a whooping 60 seconds on a very short windup. That means he can last nearly an entire redeploy cycle which is a huge benefit in those sorts of stall comps.

因为在宫廷之中仍然身负职责,所以深律需要频繁地在罗德岛和莱塔尼亚之间往来,每次能够停留在舰上的时间并不算长,但深律依然珍惜造访罗德岛的时光。毕竟对于还是少年的深律来说,莱塔尼亚之外的一切都算得上稀奇,罗德岛上形形色色的人物,也正好可以满足少年了解这片大地的好奇心。
凭借着宫廷出身的音乐造诣,深律很轻松就在罗德岛的音乐爱好者们的心中占据了重要地位,吸引了一大批干员成为他的忠实听众,他也很乐意以自己的号声为引,主动与干员们交流。在这样的交流中,深律的宫廷使者身份似乎渐渐被干员们淡忘了,他的号音已经成为罗德岛乐团中不可或缺的旋律。

据说深律曾经和凯尔希医生有过长达十数分钟的谈话,谈话的具体内容,其他人不便,大概也不敢探听。倒是有人以此向他请教沟通的技巧,深律回答道:
“还好吧,凯尔希医生不算是什么很难交际的人,只是得做好接收信息的准备——她积淀的知识和经验太多,没做好准备的话很容易被压垮。和她多谈谈很有好处,你们也该试着去找她聊聊——在她不忙的时候。”
是的,对深律来说,这片大地上就没有“难交际”的人。有的时候,深律在面对一些干员时也会陷入短暂的语塞,但他总能迅速把对话收束,然后切换到下一个话题。

“你说深律很少主动和同龄人相处?我组织孩子们踢球的时候,他不就参加了吗?当然也可能有不好意思拒绝我的成分在啦。那孩子说他不会踢球,可我记得那天他路过工程部的时候,轻轻松松就把一个工件踢到了我手里!那可隔着十多米呢,多么高超的点射技术!
“按照深律的说法,这项技术是他无意中练成的。他还在崔林特尔梅的时候,忙完工作回到房间,不小心把一块响板碰飞出去,精准砸掉了书架上的一本书,大半夜的,咚的一声,发出了很大的动静,那一瞬间,他反而感受到了一种......放松?我听他的语气,其实就是某种恶趣味,可能是因为那个乐器是莱塔尼亚的金色女皇赐给他的吧。咱们都经历过那个年纪,刚到叛逆期嘛。就是这个叛逆的方式有点太不叛逆了。也可能,那是难得的属于他自己的时间,他终于找到了一件可以干的事情?

鲁珀坎大区在莱塔尼亚现有的九个大区中一直是较为特殊的一个。鲁珀坎位于帝国的最东南方,与叙拉古在地理上最为接近,种族构成和文化传统也更近于叙拉古,虽然不如叙拉古一般具有强烈的独立意识,但同其他大区之间总有嫌隙。莱塔尼亚历史上仅有一位出身于鲁珀坎的皇帝,且任期很短,仅在位三年就被选帝侯们共同罢黜。此外,叙拉古的独立思想自古有之,鲁珀坎又是这种思想向帝国本土传播的第一站,所以鲁珀坎也长期不受帝国宫廷的信任。969年,巫王修改金律乐章宣布承认叙拉古独立,鲁珀坎从此陷入尴尬的境地。在巫王统治最残暴的时期,鲁珀坎大区“纵容、煽动叛乱”的历史被巫王的党徒大做文章,由此鲁珀坎遭到了残酷的打压。选帝侯家族的势力不断被削弱,几乎被褫夺贵族身份;大区内行政官员、军队领袖的任免被巫王的宫廷控制;鲁珀坎的领民被强行迁移到其他大区,很多人就此流离失所。也正因如此,在后来的“九月起义”中,鲁珀坎大区的选帝侯家族毫不犹豫地倒向了双子女皇一边。但是,就算他们如此积极地参与了推翻巫王的战争,帝国宫廷对他们的不信任也并未随之消除,鲁珀坎依然被视作帝国的隐疾。

1091年,鲁珀坎的焦松公爵挑动三城叛乱,仅三个月就受到了镇压——因为女皇赫琳玛特亲自率军征讨了叛乱分子。虽然此次叛乱被证实只波及了一小部分地区,只涉及了有限的几个家族,但鲁珀坎的其他贵族依然受到了处罚。双塔以“接受教育”为由要求贵族们将家庭中的继承人送到崔林特尔梅接受帝国宫廷的直接监管。但是这些实际上被作为人质送到崔林特尔梅的贵胄子嗣并没有全部都如双塔所说进入帝国宫廷,他们中的大部分人没有得到两位女皇的信任,被分散到了双子女皇塔之外其他贵族塔中,能够留在帝国宫廷的只有寥寥几人。

金黄色的晚霞透过罗德岛的舷窗照进舱室,深律放下遮阳板,挡住最后一抹耀眼的阳光。
“我好像总是有种错觉,晚霞之后不会再有黑夜,夜晚永远也不会再来了。”
罗德岛上的演奏会通常在夜幕降临之后才开始,沉沉的黑夜是最好的伴奏,但深律有时候会说:“夜晚的声音已经足够美丽,我的号声才是夜晚的伴奏。”于是那只巨大的低音号,总在入夜之后奏响。常当他听众的干员知道,深律喜欢反复演奏一个片段,这个片段属于一首鲁珀坎民间叙事曲《白牙》,讲述的是一个鲁珀少年收起獠牙的古老传说。当年朝觐双塔时,面对着辉煌的恩典高塔,深律演奏的正是这首曲子。
“我原来就很喜欢这首曲子,但是那座高塔的主人并不喜欢。她也许是不喜欢这首曲子,也许是不喜欢这首曲子诞生的地方,又或者,我更愿意相信她仅仅是不喜欢演奏这首曲子的我......有一段时间,我一度不再想演奏这首曲子了,但后来我决定了,我需要演奏,我需要继续演奏下去,这不是为了鲁珀坎,甚至不是为了莱塔尼亚,而是为了我自己。‘我们身上的责任,不该是别人逼我们扛的。’
“我的职责仍未结束。这也是我今日站在这里的理由。”

响板划过半空,击中几步之外的书架,声响在安静的房间里产生波纹,还未荡漾开去就归于平静。
第一本被踢落的书是小说《白桦》,讲述了一位乌萨斯军官和一位萨米部落姑娘的爱情故事。
米夏捡起那副珍贵的响板,放在脚边。他用足尖颠起响板,再次踢向书架。
响板命中目标:第二本书的书脊。书本从书架上跌落,封面朝上趴在地上。《向晚霞进发》,米夏从来就不怎么喜欢晚霞。
米夏再次捡起响板,上面好像出现了新的划痕,但不论它变得多么斑驳,他也毫不在意,响板再次腾空。
第三本书是本大部头,米夏再踢了一次响板,那本书才终于落下。《维多利亚宫廷礼仪汇编》,维多利亚、莱塔尼亚,好像哪里都一样。
最后一次,米夏捡起响板,把它砸向墙垣一般高大的书架,在不起眼的角落里,一本小书应声而下。是一本诗集,《剑的告别》。
也许这本书,自己该好好读一读。
