Operator Overview

“Everyone, follow me!”

Fang is a responsible leader and an extremely fast runner, a considerable advantage for her team on any battlefield. Like all Skill-DP-Recovery Vanguards, she has the ability to block two enemies and recovers DP with a skill, in her case Charge 𝛂.  As her Defense stat is higher than the other Vanguards of her rarity, she is the best defensive choice of the bunch.

With her Lightweight talent reducing her already low DP cost, she is the cheapest of all Skill-Recovery Vanguards.  This may make her worth considering for maps with extremely fast starts where a few DP at the beginning will make the difference.

As a low rarity Operator, Fang’s biggest weakness is that she cannot be upgraded to Elite 2. This causes her to fall behind other operators at higher levels due to a lower stat cap and lack of additional utility.  Overall, Fang is a solid defense-oriented Vanguard option for Doctors in the early game, though she will eventually be outclassed by her higher-rarity counterparts.

Base Skill Analysis

Fang gains her second RIIC Base Skill upon reaching Elite 1.

Is it worth it? Maybe. It is a good high rate for the Trading Post, but it is available from other Operators as well.  If running 2-5-2 or 1-5-3, the player may find her better used in the Factory with her first Skill, which gives a 20-25% Factory buff.

Archive File 1

Increase Trust to 50.
Fang shows off a Kuranta's natural dominance in battle by always holding the most advantageous position at the critical moment. To strike a balance between power and control, Fang prefers to use a spear, which she applies with versatility in any situation. Fang acts impulsively and springs into action before others even finish talking.

Archive File 2

Increase Trust to 100.
Immigrants from many nations came to the outskirts of Columbia. Fang, Kroos, and Beagle all met there after moving from their respective homelands. After realizing their common goals, they joined the city guard and underwent basic training together. The humorless Fang, the gentle Beagle, and the laid-back Kroos possess wildly different personalities yet rely on one another for support.

Archive File 3

Increase Trust to 150.
Before an election day, a Catastrophe struck the outskirts of Columbia. In their efforts to aid others in escaping, all three Operators were infected with Oripathy. Fang suffered discrimination due to her condition and fell into deep despair. Kroos rallied the three of them and together they went to Rhodes Island.

Archive File 4

Increase Trust to 200.
After arriving at Rhodes Island, Fang and her two companions as well as Hibiscus and Lava were all trained by Dobermann. The training was extraordinarily intense, and Kroos and Hibiscus seized every opportunity they could to goof off. Even Fang as their captain couldn't do anything to control them. Currently, Fang is training herself to be as intense and strict as her teacher, Dobermann. However, if the giddy expression on her face as she eats fruit is any indication, she's got a long way to go.

Fang, day-to-day captain of her team, excels in mutual coordination with her squad, and with unexpected tactics both initiates an offensive and lays the defensive. When faced with fast-moving, hard-to-impede enemies, repeated obstructive tactics seem more effective still. At the same time, defense of key points cannot be relaxed. The combat environments may be complex, the enemies with tricks up their sleeves, but... when faced with being put to the test, Fang is determined to overcome.
