Myrtle's Token A long rod that she chose herself, but it doesn't seem any different from the stick in her hand. She looks to be pretty satisfied with this gift, even though it doesn't have any particular use.

Operator Overview

I may be small, but I'm tough!  ...It's true!

Underestimating this flag-bearing, apple-wielding Durin because of her diminutive stature would be a huge mistake!  On the battlefield, Myrtle is a 4★ Operator who fills the niche of a Skill-DP-Recovery and Healing Vanguard.

Myrtle’s greatest strength lies in the speed and efficiency of her DP recovery.  Myrtle is the ultimate DP generating Vanguard, bringing in so much DP that she puts even 6*-rarity Operators to shame, even though her own DP cost is comparable to lower-rarity Operators.  Myrtle’s first Skill, Support 𝝱, is an incredibly fast and efficient DP-Recovery Skill.  Healing Wings, her second Skill, although still a great DP recovery Skill, gives up a bit of efficacy in order to heal a nearby ally.  When deployed, Myrtle’s Glistening Talent slowly recovers the HP of all Vanguards on the map.  This can be useful on stages with difficult starting phases or in Vanguard-heavy teams. Between her Talent and second Skill, Myrtle can sometimes function as a low-cost healer.

The drawback of all this utility and efficacy is that when the player activates her Skills, Myrtle stops attacking and blocking.  Combined with Myrtle’s low HP and Defense, she is not great at holding back enemies. While her not-blocking can at times help to keep her alive, her positioning and Skill activation must be considered carefully.

When utilized properly, this little Durin can have a huge impact, and her best-in-class DP Recovery will earn her a spot on many teams when tackling tough content, or any time early Deploy speed is important.  Do not let her rarity or her size fool you: Myrtle is a beast on the battlefield!

Newbie Tier List Explanation

Super cheap, prints DP like counterfeit dollars, and heals other units. A game-breaking 4-star.

Elite Promotion Discussion

  • Talent 1 - Glistening - Poor Myrtle has no Talents at E0 or E1, but at E2 this little butterfly comes out of her cocoon.  The Glistening Talent passively heals all deployed Vanguards, offering a valuable source of healing at the start of a map before you have sufficient DP to deploy a dedicated healer.

Myrtle is the ultimate queen of the 4★s, having appeared all over the game since her release, from the easiest of Story stage to the highest risk Advanced CC clears. She is the only 4★ that everyone should E2 and Master. The focus of that Mastery should first be her S1. The benefits of it can be deceptive at first and seem small, and to be fair she will work at SL7 just fine most of the time. However that initial wind up makes a big difference in usability, plus 4★ Mastery is very cheap which makes it one of the most valuable in the game.

Her S2 is also a quite valuable tool to have handy. It gains a lot of value in the Roguelike mode since Myrtle is already such a strong pick and Medics can sometimes be in short supply. Although it still qualifies as a luxury extra, especially in Story where it should likely be skipped regardless, it is worth considering once your core team is complete.

Profile

Myrtle is a Durin. She has insisted that her previous job title be recorded as: Generalissimo.
Her appearance and temperament are somewhat childish, but on the battlefield, she displays considerable enthusiasm and knack for command. She is able to boost operator morale while at the same time, providing them treatment. She is totally reliable.

This Durin girl is full of energy.
Because she previously lived only underground, she is very curious about the world up here.
She likes group operations and likes to be where everyone else is. Some of the older operators show a deep fondness for her.

Durin brought Myrtle back to the base one day, completely unannounced. According to Durin, she suddenly felt a burst of 'inspiration' while she was sleeping. She went out for a walk and found Myrtle.
Regardless of whatever it was that inspired Durin, Myrtle's proved to be a fully capable Rhodes Island operator. She had also expressed a desire to find work. Thus, through means no one quite understood, Rhodes Island added a new operator to our ranks.
In addition, the reason Myrtle left her homeland is similar to that of many of the Durins who come above ground - she was simply looking for a new life.

Somewhat regrettably, Myrtle's induction into Rhodes Island has not yet resulted in any greater understanding of the underground world.
In fact, despite the many Durin who have come up from the underground world, their descriptions have never given us any real impression of what it's like down there.
Perhaps the underground world is too large.
Anyway, the addition of Myrtle is not without its benefits. At the very least, she has reversed everyone's impressions of the Durin people. After all, up until now, Durin had let us believe that most Durins are lazy and sleep all the time.

The most noteworthy thing about Miss Myrtle is the apple that she always carries in her hand. While it may appear to be an ordinary apple at first glance, her combat style reveals that it is much more than that.
After soliciting my advice for their studies, Rhodes Island researchers were surprised to find extremely complex but precise structures inside the apple that can transform to most efficiently release Miss Myrtle's powers.
This design is becoming more popular as a form of expression, conceptually similar to how Casters will channel their Arts through mediums that they are most comfortable with. However, this apple differs subtly from these more 'popular' forms.
According to a researcher who has long been obsessed with making Arts-related devices, the mechanism behind this apple felt as if it was derived from 'faith.'

Appointed as Assistant Hey, Doctor. I'm here to hang!
Talk 1 Doctor, don't look down on me just 'cause I'm little. Back where I'm from, all the kids looked up to me.
Talk 2 Durin used the name of our race as her codename because she's so lazy, but isn't it kind of dumb how calling me 'Myrtle of Durin' made me sound like I belong to her or something?
Talk 3 I understand how all the machines here work, but it still feels weird using them. Some have a lot of different parts, but some are surprisingly simple.
Talk after Promotion 1 My banner? Good eye, Doctor. It sure is a tablecloth from my house. I sneaked it out with me because it can't get dirty. My dad is probably pretty mad about it!
