Overview
As the star of Scars of the Syndicate: Part 2, Grace is a rare breed of Staff user. Instead of healing, the Wistful Widow boosts her team’s survivability via shields and DEF buffs. This places her in a unique position to support berserker-style adventurers like Natalie and Bellina. By protecting her team without messing with HP thresholds, Grace removes their risk factor entirely, leaving only high rewards.Â
As if she wasn’t odd enough, Grace is also the first adventurer with a Force Strike-boosting Co-ability, allowing her to flex as a passive mule for Sword users and Monster Hunter units of all elements.

Strengths
UnkillableÂ
Grace can convert up to 70% of her max HP into a robust shield. Important to note: this shield is not single-use. While Natalie’s shield fails against multi-hit attacks, Grace’s stands strong until she can regen back via doublebuffs. As a kicker, she also gets a 50% HP, one-use shield courtesy of her chain co-ability.Â
Enables BerserkersÂ
Traditional healers, though well-intentioned, end up reducing the DPS of certain <30% HP allies. Grace allows daredevils to eat potential damage without healing them above their comfort zones. Â
Dispel on Command
Grace’s unique Force Strike is comparable to that of a Wand’s and provides minor spell vamp. Although it charges rather slowly, it accords simple, user-friendly dispels at a moment’s notice.Â
Weaknesses
No Team HealingÂ
If allies eat too much damage, they’re on their own. Grace offers zero restorative power to her team.Â
Dragon Recommendations
Azazel's Skill Haste is the missing piece in Grace's kit. Best in slot by far, with a solid active skill to boot.
Nidhogg’s Blindness is useful for cheesing certain bosses.Â
High Zodiark / Mini Zodi are similar to Nidhogg, providing both offense and defense, gacha-free.
Ebisu offers the most raw HP of all Shadow dragons.Â
