Overview
Yuya rides in as Madcap Misfit’s featured 4★, causing more of a ruckus than an uproar. Deadly Joyride combines two rare traits: increasing attack rate and directional movement. However, this is where the novelty ends. A non-damaging Skill 2 is ill-suited to his supposed reckless bruiser kit, and Chicken at Heart is a needlessly crippling condition to maintain. Overall, Yuya provides neither damage nor support, and the Flame roster is stacked enough that almost any other adventurer can do the job better.
Strengths
Unique Skill 1Â
A beefy 20% attack rate boost helps to quickly stack combo counts for Wyrmprint purposes. Drifting adds to Daggers’ already high mobility.
Weaknesses
Live and Die by the ChickenÂ
Reminiscent of Pokemon’s Archeops, dropping below 60% HP completely invalidates Yuya as an adventurer. Even with the 20% STR boost active, Yuya is hard-pressed to outdamage literally anyone on the Flame roster.Â
Weak UtilityÂ
A 20% HP shield isn’t anything to write home about, and Emma/Ramona/Rena provide their own DEF buffs.Â

Konohana Sakuya's massive Skill Damage boost is the premier choice.
Cerberus/Agni offer high neutral damage via a 60% raw STR increase.
Ifrit is both functional and accessible, providing a 45% STR boost.
