Unit suggestion: Velouria, the Wolf Cub

'Sup. After taking a brief break to play some Destiny, I'm back again with another unit idea. Building off of a unit I drafted previously, I wanted to take a minute to draft my canon wife for my Conquest playthroughs.

Velouria - Wolf Cub

HP: 45
ATK: 40
SPD: 27
DEF: 31
RES: 20

BST: 163

[WEAPON]: Wolfstone (Red Beaststone, Effective: Cavalry. Inheritable, beast-only)
Might: 10. If unit initiates combat, unit granted ATK/DEF +2 during battle.
[SUPPORT]:
[ACTIVE]: Sol
Heal 50% of damage dealt
[A] HP+5
Grants +5 to max HP.
[B] Grisly Wound (Inheritable, Beast-only)
Inflicts 10 damage to foe after combat.
[C]

I absolutely adore Velouria. I wanted to draft her from the start, but I decided to use Panne as a draft for beast units before trying. As a Wolfskin, Velouria isn't very big on speed, taking a much more bruiser-like approach to combat and focusing instead on her attack and physical bulk. However, her RES (while not AWFUL, I can think of ways to redeem it) leaves her vulnerable to magical attacks. Yes, she suffers from the dreaded low SPD/RES combo, just like she does in Fates.

Ability Reasoning:
Wolfstone
See Panne for my explanation on Beaststones overall. Since Wolfskin are more physical tanks, Velouria's Wolfstone frants her Sturdy Blow 1. Similar to bows and fliers, Beaststones are inherently effective against Cavaliers. The reason behind this was that Beast units naturally learn the Beastbane ability. Since making that its own inheritable ability would effectively negate Horse Emblem (though I feel some would be okay with that), I decided to instead make the ability native to the Beast-exclusive weapon.
Like Dragonstones, Beaststones can be passed from Beast to Beast without restriction, the weapon's color changing to match the unit it is equipped on. Velouria is a Red Beaststone wielder, so I categorize the Wolfstone as Red by default.

Sol
In Fates, Keaton passes the Fighter class line to his daughter, enabling Velouria to learn Sol from the Hero class. Since I try to keep newly-drafted abilities to two per unit, Sol made for a great addition to Velouria's kit, as it syncs with her status as a physical tank while still holding to canon.

HP +5
Again, an ability that Velouria learns from the Fighter class line she inherits from Keaton.

Grisly Wound
Class skill native to Wolfskin and Kitsune. This essentially acts like a cross between Poison Strike and Pain. An equippable skill that inflicts 10 damage after combat. However, unlike Poison Strike and in the vein of Pain, Grisly Wound triggers regardless of who initiated the attack.

I may not know this character, but this unit sounds awesome. I have played a few Fire emblem games, but I've only played Awakening before Heroes. I just looked at all your previous units and I think they are all Brilliant, each serving a unique purpose. My favorite one being Aversa followed by Panne. I do have a request for another unit. See if you can bring Kellam from Awakening into Heroes. I would love to see what you would do for him... if he exists (:D).

Seriously, though, I'm glad you enjoyed them. It's actually really nice to know that my ideas are appreciated. :)

Aversa's probably my favorite draft, too, though I also really like Kana(♀) (The Fates equivalent of Morgan, since you say you haven't played it) and Kjelle as well, though now that I drafted Velouria she may be my favorite; but I'm proud of all of them.

As for your request, my to-draft list is pretty short at the moment, so I could get around to it soon; but I only usually make one draft a day, so keep your eye on the QA board. :3

I've been hoping for the beast morphers for so long

10 damage seems like a lot. I feel like there should be a small penalty inflicted on the user as well, but hey...just my opinion ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, another suggestion for you: Walhart. Maybe Legion on steroids??

It has the same amount of power that Poison Strike has. The penalty is that she's a close-quarters unit (as are all units that can use Grisly Wound), so the penalty is any damage taken from combat, whereas Poison Strike can be used at range and can avoid taking damage, but only applies on initiate. Grisly Wound applies after all combat, but the user is vulnerable to combat damage.

I think someone already did a Walhart, but I can take a swing at him as well. Kellam was requested first, though so I'll work on him first.

I've wanted the beast units in the game for a while, particularly Selkie and Velouria. I see the beasts' weapons working working like the dragons' breaths, each can inherit any colour of weapon with different skills, Selkie's having Atk/Spd +2 on initiation perhaps. Though to keep in with the dragon weapon naming they would need to be more individual and not just 'beaststone', maybe named around claws and teeth instead of (prefix)breath.
