Equipment
Overview
KSVK's SPEQ 2, also known as HP-35, is another unique HG, bringing the unusual ability to increase Damage taken for enemies and allies, both passively and actively. This is notable as being the only way to influence HOC Damage besides increasing the stats of the relevant HOC.
Above-average HP and Evasion give HP-35 better survivability than some other Handguns, a boon when her Tile Layout has the potential to place her in the Main tank position, although this is not required. HP-35’s Damage and Evasion tiles are desirable by Rifles and Handguns respectively, although the shape does leave some to be desired, as HP-35 will be in positions 1, 2 or 5.
HP-35’s Skill is her primary draw. During the day, she passively adds an additional debuff to enemies that causes them to take additional Damage. This counts as an additional debuff for Skills that count those, (RO635’s Neural Upgrade, ACR, and activating KSVK’s Neural Upgrade). More interesting however is the second part of the passive, which universally applies the Damage increase during Night Battles. This makes for a quick way to boost outgoing Damage from the start of night battles, but the primary value is in turning KSVK Mod into an AoE auto-cannon. The secondary effect of her passive, reducing Damage taken by allied units is not as useful, as Damage avoidance and mitigation are available in modern GFL, without the conditionals.
HP-35’s active Skill compounds her passive, further increasing Damage taken by all enemies. When combined with her Passive, the boost to Damage taken is slightly less than the boost offered by Damage Boost Skills, and for a slightly shorter duration of six seconds, which leads to her being outclassed by other Damage boosting Handguns outside of night battles, and often in general when not working with KSVK Mod.

Strengths
Unique Skill:
HP-35’s debuff increases the Damage enemies taken, one of the only sources of this effect in game.
Above Average Stats:
HP-35’s HP and Evasion give her above-average survivability for her class.
Weaknesses
Awkward Tile Layout:
HP-35’s Tile Layout is somewhat inconvenient and can make building with her somewhat tricky when trying to squeeze the most out of your Echelons.
Outclassed in Day Battles:
A traditional Damage buffing Handgun is likely to outperform HP-35 in Day battles due to Skill uptime.

Team Options
HP-35 contributes to KSVK Mod’s considerable AoE potential while in night battles, but she can be used alongside standard DPS rifles such as SVD and WA2000 to passable effect. Her Handgun partners will vary depending on the team, but likely include the traditional picks of M950a Calico, Stechkin, P22, and more.
Recommended Formations
RF/HG | HG/None | |
HG/RF | HG/HP-35 | |
RF/HG/HP-35 | None/HP-35 |
HP-35 can be fitted into an RF/HG Echelon in various positions, depending on her teammates. If using two other buffing Handguns, prioritize their tile layouts and then place HP-35 to maximize her effectiveness in the remaining spaces. KSVK-Mod can be fitted into any of the Rifle slots on this chart to best take advantage of buffs.
