Yukimoyoi (a Touhou LW original) refers to weather where snow could start falling at any moment. This is an apt temperament for Sakuya, who must reclaim spring for the Scarlet Devil Mansion. Sakuya is endowed with Metal Phase, due to her skills with knives, and with Moon Essence, as a vampire's servant.

The cold and silent Metal Phase resists Earth Phase, because earth bears metal, but it is weak to Fire Phase, because fire refines metal.

The cooperative and indecisive Moon Essence resists the alluring and arrogant Sun Essence, but it is weak to the diverse and uncooperative Star Essence.

Directing where the audience looks is a fundamental technique of magic tricks. For example, when a magician makes a dove appear, it distracts the audience and lets them set up another trick. When something shocking happens, it steals the audience's attention and makes them blind to all else. Similar techniques are also used to commit crimes and in military operations. A Spell Card of Sakuya Izayoi from the world with a never-ending winter. She manipulates time within a fixed area. Thinking about it, the only people who could genuinely pose a threat to Sakuya are those whom time has no power over. However, most creatures, be they human or youkai, value their time and are generally ruled by it. Some notable exceptions would be Remilia, who meddles with fate; Yukari Yakumo, who interferes with the laws of nature; and Kaguya, who manipulates eternity and the instantaneous. Although, not much is really known about Kaguya's ability... This maid seems much too powerful to be a simple human.

Magical Circus Chance Time

The Last Word of Sakuya Izayoi from the world with a never-ending winter (a Touhou LW original). She throws knives imbued with spring temperament. Sakuya can manipulate time to perform a spectacularly over-the-top magic trick all on her own. This trick is so complex it looks as if an entire circus troupe is performing autonomously. If she precisely and accurately shoots her meticulously prepared bullets, she can surely stop Yuyuko as well as the mastermind who prolonged the incident. And then she can finally warm up her freezing cold mistress.

For this trick, Sakuya is accompanied by mysterious purple balls marked with stars that also throw knives. Gather around everyone! The magical circus act is about to begin! ...But really, what are those ball things?

The ability of Sakuya Izayoi from the world with a never-ending winter (a Touhou LW original). It is essentially the same as our version of Sakuya's ability. However, despite having this ability, this world's Sakuya is yet to resolve the Spring Snow Incident.

The Scarlet Devil Mansion has been shut off from the rest of Gensokyo by heavy snowfall. They can probably overcome their lack of fuel through magic, but there's no easy replacement for food. If worst comes to worst, the mistress might end up causing an incident again out of sheer hunger. If that happens, Gensokyo might never be the same again. Although, in saying that, it's still yet to be seen whether Gensokyo can recover from this single prolonged incident.

Sakuya is a master of illusions and stage magic that utilize tricks and gimmicks. She can perform almost any kind of magic trick thanks to her ability to manipulate time. However, her mistress's face remains impassive, as if frozen by the chill winter wind, when Sakuya performs them for her. This is obviously because she's aware of Sakuya's ability, taking away all the fun and mystique. But perhaps these tricks will work on the one who prolonged this incident. She'll have to creatively utilize her magic tricks to bring an end to her repeated forays.

During Sakuya's countless excursions to bring an end to this incident, she came to the sudden realization that prolonging winter for eternity might be possible for someone who can manipulate time.

Sakuya's Time Sign loadout features domain-themed bombs and attacks that involve throwing knives and manipulating their trajectory. You can tell that she is confident in her skills by the way she seamlessly moves at high speed while controlling her knives. But Sakuya complains that maintaining the intense concentration required for these techniques is exhausting... There's only one way to see if another loadout would be more effective, and that's to try it for real. Then again, perhaps using the attacks she's used to is still her best bet...

For every layer of Barrier Status: Freeze or Paralyze, Yang ATK, Yin ATK, CRIT ATK, and CRIT Accuracy 1 level UP.

They say there's a time and place for everything, and a certain perfect and elegant maid’s time to put an end to the Spring Snow Incident is now. That said, she is feeling blue (like her eyes) as a result of the excessively bitter weather conditions, but she cannot give up. For the sake of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, and for the dear people who reside there, even if it takes seemingly forever, she has to resolve this by any means necessary, even against a ghost princess that can manipulate death. Time will always be on Sakuya Izayoi’s side, but she can’t afford to let her mistress freeze up and starve, so she has to act swiftly!

A7B Sakuya Izayoi is a Technical-Class Friend that can demonstrate her self-sustainability with Yang ATK, CRIT ATK, Spirit Power and great damage potential.

As an Attacker / Supporter

Increases the power of her bullets that are effective against her enemies by 20%.
Increases her own Spirit Power via Skill 3 and Spell Card 1.
Can buff her own Yang ATK via Spell Card 1, Last Word bullet lines and Skills 1 and 3. Skill 3 is also a party-wide buff too.

Inflicts and breaks Freeze and Paralyze anomalies on enemies too. Skills 1 and 2, Spell Card 2 and Last Word can either inflict Freeze or Paralyze. Freeze anomalies are broken via Spell Card 2 and Last Word (both 3P) and Paralyze breaks are just via Last Word.

A7B Sakuya is going to be a little more Spirit Power hungry than her fellow A7A counterpart, so definitely make sure she has Spirit Power UP cards to help bring out the best in her Spell Cards, especially her second one since 3P gets a lot out of it. CRIT ATK, is a great buff to take advantage of, especially with her Killers. Accuracy is also not a bad thing to cover since the only way she really covers it (for her team) is by Boosting. If all of the above are covered and you want to use her Spell Cards for damage, make sure to use Slash or Energy boosters.

A7B Sakuya’s Last Word is Slash (as usual). This means her best bets are easily Mysterious Sword Master and The Moon and Izayoi, due to their 50% Slash Bullet Boosts putting them head and shoulders above the rest.

Other options geared more towards her 4 Moon bullets include The Heat of my Fingertips and Lunatic Red Eyes, both with a 50% Boost in Moon elemental Bullets if you can get a hold of a Max Limit Broken copy of either. A weaker option that might be helpful with additional CRIT ATK is Standing Behind You, having 30% of a Moon boost instead, but also a modest increase in CRIT ATK.

Character Skill Level Up Recommendations

Supernatural Border will be our first Skill to level up. The extra Spirit Power, team Yang ATK and team CRIT ATK will definitely help a lot with A7B Sakuya here. Next up is the first Skill, Outdoor Maid Attire, for even more Yang ATK and CRIT ATK, but selfish. Lastly will be the one in the middle, Scarlet Watch, which will have its uses when it comes to an extra layer of Freeze on enemies as well as an extra stage of CRIT DEF debuffed on enemies.

Self-Sustainable, yet Strong Servant

A7B Sakuya is great at making sure she can provide the important buffs for herself in order to bring out the high numbers against a good chunk of her enemies. With her Yang ATK, CRIT ATK, Spirit Power, CRIT DEF debuffing on enemies and a strong range of Killers to work with, you just can’t go wrong with A7B Sakuya’s kit! It’s also worth noting a few other things, such as Skill 3’s Yang ATK and CRIT ATK buffs are also served to her fellow allies as well as her Ability making those Yang ATK and CRIT ATK buffs even stronger thanks to Freeze and Paralyze anomalies inflicted on her boosting her own offensive stats.

Stunning Anomaly Inflictions on Foes, Maid to be Broken

A7B Sakuya’s anomaly breaking is decent, all things considered. With the Freeze anomalies inflicted on her Skill 2 and her Spell Card 2, she can potentially break a lot of Freeze anomalies (slight RNG on Spell Card 2 is worth keeping in mind). You could also theoretically use her Last Word to break both Paralyze and Freeze anomalies at 3P, meaning that the collective inflictions of both on her foes could result in a Full-Breaking Last Word (or you could just use it for damage, that won’t disappoint you). On another note, she can also Stun an enemy via Spell Card 1 at 3P, a card that also has 4 Moon breaks.

Character Weaknesses

Elemental Breaks are a Little Flawed

This has been an issue with both A7A and A7B Sakuya, but it is what it is. A7B Sakuya’s main element is Moon, which appears frequently, but also has Wood and Metal appear, but not very often, thus not being able to take much advantage of them, so in other words, A7B Sakuya will mainly be focusing on her Moon breaks.
