Character Analysis
Lunasa Prismriver (Eldest Memory Leaker Sister) was released on June 30th on Prayer “Chill Hacker Beats” Ultra Festival.
The Prismriver Sisters are a trio of poltergeists most known for their beautiful music, with a violinist, trumpeter and keyboardist. However, in a realm dominated by the Capital, they all make use of electronics and modern technology in one way or another, including downloading files, hacking into the memories of others and finding new ways to express their musicality as a trio with perfect chemistry. In Lunasa Prismriver’s case, she likes using her MIDI instruments via her own personal digital audio workstation to please a new generation of viewers, whether it be in person or or connected in her version of the internet.
B5 Lunasa Prismriver is an Attack-Class Friend with vast Wood and Water breaks, Paralyze anomaly utility, Yang/CRIT support, and wonderful electronic melodies.
As an Attacker / Supporter / Debuffer
- Spirit Power boosting for herself with Skill 3, Spell Card 1 Post-ATK and Last Word Post-ATK. Slight team Spirit Power boosting by Skill 1 (0.40).
- Team Yang ATK buffs via Skill 1, Spell Card 1 Post-ATK and Last Word Pre-ATK. Self Yang ATK buffs via bullet lines in Shots and Last Word.
- Yang DEF debuff potential with Skill 2 and Last Word bullet line.
- Drastically boosts her CRIT ATK by 5 stages via Last Word Pre-ATK.
- CRIT DEF Debuffs from Skill 2 and Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK.
- Increases the team’s Accuracy via Boosting.
- Debuffs the Yang ATK of all enemies after using her Last Word.
- B5 Lunasa’s effective elements will deal 25% more enemies (Wood, Water).
- Has great Slice Scaling to boost damage. On top of that, has Agility buffs via Spell Card Pre-ATKs, both selfish and team-wide.
- Killer range includes Human, Soul, Lunar Capital, Thunder, Musician and Engineer.
As a Utility
- Gains 0.20 Spirit Power when inflicted with Burn anomalies.
- Gains offensive buffs (Yang ATK, Yin ATK, CRIT ATK, CRIT Accuracy) whenever inflicted with Paralyze anomalies. B5 Lunasa can do this herself via Skill 3 and various bullet lines.
- Paralyze anomalies are also inflicted and broken on enemies by using her Skill 2, Spell Card 2 Pre-ATK and a few bullet lines. These are broken via Spell Card 2 and Last Word at 3P (both All-Targeting).
- Takes 35% Less damage from Soul enemies via Passive 1.
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on June 29, 2023)
Spell Card
B5 Lunasa is rather self sustainable when it comes to the offensive buffs that will benefit her such as Yang ATK, but it never hurts to help her out with more other stuff like Spirit Power and CRIT ATK. Since her only Accuracy buffs for the team are whenever she Boosts, those cards will always help too. If any of the above isn’t an issue though, you can always look to Energy bullets if you want to use either Spell Card for damage.
Spirit Power UP: The Witch of Scarlet Dreams, Our Dream, Dancer in the Puddle, Mountain of Faith, Youkai Mountain Anniversary, Taking a Breather in Spring, Post-Training Kinako Milk
Team Spirit Power UP: Myouren Temple Anniversary, Divine Spirit Tajikarao, Dancers Take the Stage, Utopia Tea Time
CRIT ATK UP: Worlds in Hand, Divine Spirit Tajikarao, New Year’s Shrine Visit VI, Miracle Mallet, Bloody Order, Ordinary Magician
Accuracy UP: Ability Cards?, Taking a Breather in Spring, Valued Tools of the Trade, The Lunar War, Poltergeist Sisters’ Concert, 8th Hakurei Shrine Fall Reitaisai, Shichi-Go-San School Visit?!, Secret Hobby
Energy Bullet Power UP: Worlds in Hand, Lunatic Red Eyes, Choose an Animal Spirit, NAЯAKA, Unknown Barrier Team, Protection of Serpinus, Thunder Beat
Last Word
Protection of Cerpinus
Thunder Beat
Unknown Barrier Team
Choose an Animal Spirit
Lunatic Red Eyes
Little Sister and Sweets
NAЯAKA
Similar to her L1 self, B5 Lunasa is Energy-based across the board, and that includes her Last Word, also being Energy. On top of that, 5 of the 6 bullet lines here are Wood, making this perfect for Protection of Cerpinus and Thunder Beat, both boosting Wood and Energy by a total of 60% and 55% respectively. Other great pure 50% Energy options however, include Unknown Barrier Team, Choose an Animal Spirit, Lunatic Red Eyes, NAЯAKA. An honorable mention for 50% Wood as a result of 5 out of 6 Wood Bullet Lines would be Little Sister and Sweets as well.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
Lofi Hip Hop comes first due to the beneficial Spirit Power and offensive buffs that come as a result of her Ability regarding Paralyze anomalies. Next up is Chiptune, giving the team more Yang ATK and Spirit Power while reducing the cooldown time from 4 to 3 turns. Last up but not least is Chill Out. All the effects are helpful but the extra stages/layers of their Yang DEF/CRIT DEF/Paralyze anomalies on enemies will only increase by 1, so they can probably wait till the other Skills are finished.
Character Strengths
Music is Power
Despite her chill and reserved exterior, B5 Lunasa is more than capable of bringing in the necessary Yang ATK buffs for the team as well as both Yang DEF and CRIT DEF debuffs to help allies, mainly Yang based Friends. She also has the Spirit to carry on keeping herself energized via Spirit Power by multiple means (1.20 on Skill 3, 1.40 on Spell Card 1 Post-ATK, 2.00 on Last Word Post-ATK and even 0.40 for the team through Skill 1). On top of that, if her enemies are weak to Wood and Water (mainly the former), those bullets by B5 Lunasa get a 25% boost. She is just destined for international success, even in cyberspace.
Electrifying Performer
B5 Lunasa also enjoys her usage of anomalies, mainly around Paralyze. She can gain 0.20 Spirit Power if inflicted with Burn, but she will have to rely on teammates and in some cases, her enemies to make use of it. Back to Paralyze though, she will enjoy her offensive buffs from this, especially Yang ATK and CRIT ATK. The latter becomes more beneficial given that her only source of CRIT ATK buffing is through her Last Word Pre-ATK (although there are CRIT DEF debuffs like mentioned above). She does also have a bit of Paralyze breaking via a Spell Card and Last Word if you want to do that too.
Character Weaknesses
Somewhat Limited Killer Range
While having Human and Soul Killers are by no means awful, it does seem that she won’t be getting those guaranteed CRITs on all kinds of enemies. Although the aforementioned Killers are backed up by others like Capital, Lunar Capital, Thunder, Engineer, Phantom, Machine and Musician. Make sure you know your enemies’ tags to see if any of B5 Lunasa’s Killers can land for maximum viewer retention.
