A Spell Card of Lunasa Prismriver, the electronic musician (a Touhou LW original). She recreates a musical performance that took place near the Sanzu River. Even among the souls of the dead, poltergeists are unique. The three poltergeist sisters are different beings from the deceased girls who share their names (Layla's true sisters), so they exist outside the bounds of the Yama-controlled reincarnation cycle. Apparently, they learned to play their respective instruments after Layla passed away. So it stands to reason that none of them should have memories of playing music with her. However, when they play together in the Ruined Western Mansion, memories of their days with Layla come flooding back to them...

The ability of Lunasa Prismriver, the electronic musician (a Touhou LW original). Lunasa's original ability became this one when it was concealed by the system of the Capital. However, due to miscellaneous adjustments and the construction of alternate functions, Lunasa's melancholic note-performing capabilities are unchanged.

Assuming that poltergeists alter themselves in order to continue existing, what kind of forms can they take? One clue lies in the historic discovery of animal electricity. It went on to be named galvanism by a revered academic and is what gives life to organic beings... In other words, it's what powers the soul. To humans who live in an age where scientific knowledge has spread far and wide, electricity is nothing but an abundantly available, inorganic energy resource. However, when something is newly discovered, it is considered mystical and mysterious, whatever that thing may be. Whether it's a new system, a new mechanism, a new item, a new aspect of culture, or a new member of your household… it's always something otherworldly introduced by a marebito. It feels like magic and becomes a focal point around which strange phenomena occur. The artificial human created by sewing corpses together and brought to life with lightning is a prime example of the mysteries attributed to electricity. There are even reports of people receiving messages from the dead through electronic voice phenomena.

It's understandable how someone might believe that electricity is the essence of life and the true form of spirits. The soul is made of plasma, and the spirit world is simply the ionosphere located far up in the sky. That's why the theremin is such a creepy instrument and why tales of spooky sounds continue to be told, existing now as digital data stored on compact disks or online. Since souls are electricity, all of that is to be expected.

But Lunasa and her sisters realized something. Since they control instrument phantoms, surely they could also freely control the electronic world. The tool for interacting with that world is a piece of equipment known as a ''keyboard,'' but the keyboard is Lyrica's specialty. And if Lunasa and Merlin were to use their own favorite instruments, they could input data at break-neck speeds. They could hack the world with their musical performances. This world's Prismriver Sisters were certain this was a monumental discovery, for to them, the electronic world is the spirit world made up of thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Working together with Alice, their discovery may aid in the liberation of Xanadu. Filled with hope, the three sisters began to think about how to make that possibility a reality.

The Prismriver Sisters are a trio of poltergeists most known for their beautiful music, with a violinist, trumpeter and keyboardist. However, in a realm dominated by the Capital, they all make use of electronics and modern technology in one way or another, including downloading files, hacking into the memories of others and finding new ways to express their musicality as a trio with perfect chemistry. In Lunasa Prismriver’s case, she likes using her MIDI instruments via her own personal digital audio workstation to please a new generation of viewers, whether it be in person or or connected in her version of the internet.

B5 Lunasa is rather self sustainable when it comes to the offensive buffs that will benefit her such as Yang ATK, but it never hurts to help her out with more other stuff like Spirit Power and CRIT ATK. Since her only Accuracy buffs for the team are whenever she Boosts, those cards will always help too. If any of the above isn’t an issue though, you can always look to Energy bullets if you want to use either Spell Card for damage.

Lofi Hip Hop comes first due to the beneficial Spirit Power and offensive buffs that come as a result of her Ability regarding Paralyze anomalies. Next up is Chiptune, giving the team more Yang ATK and Spirit Power while reducing the cooldown time from 4 to 3 turns. Last up but not least is Chill Out. All the effects are helpful but the extra stages/layers of their Yang DEF/CRIT DEF/Paralyze anomalies on enemies will only increase by 1, so they can probably wait till the other Skills are finished.

Character Strengths

Music is Power

Despite her chill and reserved exterior, B5 Lunasa is more than capable of bringing in the necessary Yang ATK buffs for the team as well as both Yang DEF and CRIT DEF debuffs to help allies, mainly Yang based Friends. She also has the Spirit to carry on keeping herself energized via Spirit Power by multiple means (1.20 on Skill 3, 1.40 on Spell Card 1 Post-ATK, 2.00 on Last Word Post-ATK and even 0.40 for the team through Skill 1). On top of that, if her enemies are weak to Wood and Water (mainly the former), those bullets by B5 Lunasa get a 25% boost. She is just destined for international success, even in cyberspace.

Electrifying Performer

B5 Lunasa also enjoys her usage of anomalies, mainly around Paralyze. She can gain 0.20 Spirit Power if inflicted with Burn, but she will have to rely on teammates and in some cases, her enemies to make use of it. Back to Paralyze though, she will enjoy her offensive buffs from this, especially Yang ATK and CRIT ATK. The latter becomes more beneficial given that her only source of CRIT ATK buffing is through her Last Word Pre-ATK (although there are CRIT DEF debuffs like mentioned above). She does also have a bit of Paralyze breaking via a Spell Card and Last Word if you want to do that too.

Character Weaknesses

Somewhat Limited Killer Range

While having Human and Soul Killers are by no means awful, it does seem that she won’t be getting those guaranteed CRITs on all kinds of enemies. Although the aforementioned Killers are backed up by others like Capital, Lunar Capital, Thunder, Engineer, Phantom, Machine and Musician. Make sure you know your enemies’ tags to see if any of B5 Lunasa’s Killers can land for maximum viewer retention.
