Seeing the Saigyou Ayakashi's new appearance, the Netherworld's cherry blossom spirits all decided to transform into their favorite trees. Sweet-smelling trees were particularly popular among the spirits, so now Hakugyokurou is surrounded by a phantom orchard. This world's Spring Snow Incident also had a tropical spin. It didn't involve winter and spring but rather a cool summer and a blisteringly hot summer.

Character Analysis
Yuyuko Saigyouji (Seamless Swimsuit Ghost) was released on January 1st 2024 on "Epic Prayer: Starving Summer Spirit”. For more up-to-date analysis, be sure to visit the

More beings in the realm of Endless Summer with their own swimsuits have been identified, and this time comes two spiritual presences from the Netherworld, one of them being the gluttonous ghost we know all too well as Yuyuko Saigyouji! However, coming as not too much of a surprise, Yuyuko’s contribution to the happenings in the beach is her attempt to eat up whatever food this beach realm has to offer, most notably sushi! It’s a unique way of contributing to the LostWord incident, but at least she won’t be doing it on an empty stomach!
C3 Yuyuko Saigyouji is a Destroy-Class Friend who eats away at the competition thanks to her special Party Effective Element mechanic as well as a mastery of Freeze anomalies, team CRIT ATK buffs, a team CRIT ATK II buff, debuffs in CRIT Evasion and Evasion and of course, large damage potential.
As an Attacker / Supporter / Debuffer
- High Yang ATK stat at 1980.
- Increases bullet line damage by 30% if they are resisted against the enemy, whether it’s C3 Yuyuko’s Wood or Water bullets.
- Has a new mechanic that gives the team a 30% increase in Effective Element Damage via Skill 3.
- Has a few ways of gaining Spirit Power for herself, such as Skill 2 (2.50) and Spell Card 2’s Post-ATK (1.75) as well as a boost for the team via Spell Card 1’s Post-ATK (1.00).
- Yang ATK buffs gained for herself via both Spell Cards’ Pre-ATK and on Spread Shot’s first bullet line. Last Word’s Pre-ATK also gives the team a Yang ATK buff.
- CRIT ATK buffs for the team on Skill 1 and when Boosting.
- CRIT ATK II buff for the team via Skill 3.
- CRIT Accuracy buffs for the team when Grazing and through her Last Word Pre-ATK.
- Evasion debuffs on enemies via Skill 2, and Last Word Pre-ATK.
- CRIT Evasion debuffs on enemies with Last Word Pre-ATK and Focus Shot bullet lines.
- CRIT DEF debuffs on enemies via Focus Shot bullet lines.
- Has both Slice and Hard Scaling. Can reach up to 200% Slice Scaling on her Last Word with Hard Scaling getting up to as high as 168%. Some slight Agility buffs on some bullet lines can slightly help with that.
- Killers include Aquatic, Swimsuit, Summer, Beast, Bird, Fairy, Beast Youkai, Kaiju, Eientei, Lunar Capital, Hell, Divine Spirit Mausoleum, Animal Realm, Frog, Insect, Dragon Kin, Flower and Phantom.
- Every bullet line is Elastic, which means that there will be an increased CRIT rate in attacks if the enemy’s have buffed Attack stats.
As a Utility / Breaker
- Has a very good amount of Wood and Water breaks in her kit, appearing consistently and commonly together across the board.
- Gains buffs in Yang ATK, Yin ATK, CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy when inflicted with Freeze, Poison, Blind or Paralyze anomalies. C3 Yuyuko can inflict Freeze anomalies onto herself via Skill 1 and some various bullet lines in her kit.
- Can also inflict Freeze anomalies onto enemies for them to be broken. Enemy Freeze inflictions are achieved via Skill 2, Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK and Last Word Pre-ATK while breaks are achieved via Spread Shot, Spell Card 1 and Last Word, all of them All-Targeting and available at 2P (another Freeze break appears at 3P for Spell Card 1).
- Grants herself 3 Barriers via Skill 3 and Spell Card 2 Post-ATK.
- Spell Card 2 has a 100% chance to Stun an enemy at 3P.
- Can remove 2 Binds/Stat Debuffs through Spell Card 2 Post-ATK.

Spell Card
C3 Yuyuko is starving when it comes to Accuracy buffs, so it’s important for her to be fed just that! It also wouldn’t hurt to give her buffs like CRIT Accuracy for the guaranteed CRITs, and possibly even Agility and Yang DEF buffs to get more out of her Slice and Hard Scaling respectively. Of course, some extra Spirit Power doesn’t hurt as well. Once that is done and dusted, we can look into making her Spell Cards even more powerful through Liquid boosting Story Cards for Spell Card 1, and Heavy for Spell Card 2, as well as Wood and Water represented fairly on both.

Of course, C3 Yuyuko’s favorite Last Word would end up being her very own Gaze Upon the Flowers thanks to its 50% Boost in Wood for 4 of her bullet lines, 45% Liquid Boost across the board and a tiny Yang ATK increase for good measure. If you would like other options however, it might not be a bad idea to go for 50% Liquid cards like Beach Sanshoku Geidontei and Resort Stars, or cards that have a mix of Liquid and Water (2 bullet lines are Water) like Two Girl Rock Band, Divergent Spirits EX and Tropico-Fantasia! for their various boosts in both. There is one more possible option and it’s the only other 50% Wood option as of writing, and it’s Little Sister and Sweets.
If you have Gaze Upon the Flowers at your disposal, this is without a shadow of a doubt the card to go for when it comes to C3 Yuyuko!
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
For C3 Yuyuko’s starter, we’ll go with Mochiko Chicken for the massive Spirit Power boost from 0.50 to 2.50, which that alone would be perfect for her first pick, but also comes with the important Evasion debuff, as well as a handy Freeze inflict on enemies. Next up to level up (and also possibly the main course) is Musubi simply for the increase in Party’s Effective Element Damage from 10% to 30%, as well as a Barrier Increase and a slight cooldown reduction from 7 to 6 turns. Last up (and unfortunately not dessert) is Kalua Pig, slightly increasing the team CRIT ATK buff and the Freeze anomalies inflicted on herself.
Character Strengths
Destructive Power One Can’t Stomach
As the first Epic Destroy-Class Friend, C3 Yuyuko’s damage potential is definitely not to be underestimated! Of course, her Killers aren’t the most impressive but with enough CRIT Accuracy, she can ensure she will get some guaranteed CRITs regardless, especially with Elastic if enemies like buffing their ATK stats! She also comes with massive Slice Scaling accompanied by strong Hard Scaling too, but with a naturally high Yang ATK stat at 1980, the Freeze anomalies that give her offensive buffs like Yang ATK, CRIT ATK and CRIT Accuracy, a 30% increase in resisted elemental damage via Ability and of course her way to give the party a 30% Boost in Effective Elemental Damage! With everything falling into place, this hungry ghost in a swimsuit will feast on the damage inflicted on her enemies!
Swimming in Breaks
With every bullet in C3 Yuyuko’s kit either being Wood or Water, and both having a strong amount each, the elemental focus on both is rather handy for her all things considered. If she can’t use those elements to break enemies’ Barriers due to not being weak to Water/Wood, there are also Freeze anomalies to fall back on. Skill 2 inflicts 2 layers on all, Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK inflicts 3 more on all, and the same applies to her Last Word Pre-ATK, with breaks on all enemies at 2P through Spread Shot, Spell Card 1 and Last Word.
Stunning Summer Spirit
Gaining a whopping 2.50 Spirit Power for herself through Skill 3 is a massive jumpstart for C3 Yuyuko since it’s an easy way for her to access full power at 3P immediately. This can also give her access to denying an enemy their chance to attack via 100% Stun on her Solo-Targeting Spell Card 2 at 3P. The Post-ATK here also allows C3 Yuyuko to recharge well with 1.75 Spirit Power, with Spell Card 1 also giving her team 1.00 Spirit Power. This also helps with stacking up team CRIT ATK boosts thanks to the mix of Skill 1’s 4 Turn duration in team CRIT ATK buffs and constant Boosting via Ability.
Character Weaknesses
Needs Help Hitting the Sweet Spot
The main issue for C3 Yuyuko is her lack of Accuracy buffs whatsoever. While this is mitigated somewhat through the Evasion debuffs at her disposal, this is unfortunately not enough all the time with there being additional issues with that as will be explained below, but regardless, she will need help with Accuracy buffs whether it be from Story Card or from allies such as a certain Half-Human Half-Phantom in a Swimsuit. To maximize her CRIT rate, it doesn’t hurt to have even more CRIT Accuracy buffs, and as some extra food for thought, if you want to get even more out of her Hard and Slice Scaling, it may be worth considering Agility and Yang DEF buffs for her in some way.
Mochiko Chicken Takes Longer to Cook
Of all her delicious Skills, the one that sticks out for its 7 Turn Cooldown, and while it could be justified with a strong 2.50 Spirit Power boost, it also has one of few Evasion debuffs on enemies which while helpful for hitting enemies, it will be tough for C3 Yuyuko to ensure she lands her hits once the Evasion goes, assuming she is still missing some form of Accuracy buff. Again, a certain Half-Human Half-Phantom in a Swimsuit can slash the cooldown rate from 7 to 6 Turns with her own special Skill. If only she wasn’t so reliant on her hardworking servant…

The main issue for C3 Yuyuko is her lack of Accuracy buffs whatsoever. While this is mitigated somewhat through the Evasion debuffs at her disposal, this is unfortunately not enough all the time with there being additional issues with that as will be explained below, but regardless, she will need help with Accuracy buffs whether it be from Story Card or from allies such as a certain Half-Human Half-Phantom in a Swimsuit. To maximize her CRIT rate, it doesn’t hurt to have even more CRIT Accuracy buffs, and as some extra food for thought, if you want to get even more out of her Hard and Slice Scaling, it may be worth considering Agility and Yang DEF buffs for her in some way.
Mochiko Chicken Takes Longer to Cook
Of all her delicious Skills, the one that sticks out for its 7 Turn Cooldown, and while it could be justified with a strong 2.50 Spirit Power boost, it also has one of few Evasion debuffs on enemies which while helpful for hitting enemies, it will be tough for C3 Yuyuko to ensure she lands her hits once the Evasion goes, assuming she is still missing some form of Accuracy buff. Again, a certain Half-Human Half-Phantom in a Swimsuit can slash the cooldown rate from 7 to 6 Turns with her own special Skill. If only she wasn’t so reliant on her hardworking servant…
