Gensokyo of the Dead Best Stages to Farm

Submit Feedback or Error

Introduction

Rookie nurses need their own way to reach a similar level to their boss, so what better way to practice than to shred down a bunch of zombie fairies? What? You're saying that nurses are meant to care for patients? ...Well they can do that after they're done grinding, I guess...

Only Lunatic difficulty is considered here, as it is the difficultly that ensures the most amount of points as well as some Gold materials. One-wave stages are the main stages recommended here since they are the quickest and most efficient stages to repeatedly farm. All of the one-waves will be listed, even if they are not recommended to farm, which will be explained further on. In addition, the amount of stages in the guide will increase as more of the event becomes accessible.

Some additional notes for farming: The goal is to minimize the amount of Spirit Points you are spending to farm. This can range from using less Friends, using Friends with no Awakenings, etc. Less Spirit Points spent means more stage grinding and even more Spirit Point gain when collected from the Event! However, one exception to this is if you want to grind Friend EXP to power up a Friend, which you can do by having that Friend stay in the back while you can farm. That way, you can kill two birds with one stone!

Bamboo Rescue (Solo)

Enemy HP Weak To Resists Barriers Spell Gauge Skills
Eirin Yagokoro 120000 Fire, Wood, Earth Moon, Water 5 2 None

Drops: Attack and Defense Books, Plum and Chrysanthemum Tiles, Wind and Cloud Scrolls

Eirin decides to give a little practical exam at the start of this event - which coincidentally is a viable farming stage to test again and again. The only concern is her high HP, otherwise just smack her down with her Fire, Wood, or Earth weakness.

By the way, for those who wanted to check...this stage is practically parallel to the first stage of Caspule-Crazy Gensokyo, barring a weakness and resistance.

From the Depths of the Forest (All)

Enemy HP Weak To Resists Barriers Spell Gauge Skills
Kaguya Houraisan 67000 Sun, Water, Metal Wood, Earth>/td> 5 2 None
Tewi Inaba 67000 Moon, Fire, Star Sun, Metal 5 2 None

Drops: Defense and Support Books, Orchid and Bamboo Tiles, Earth and Serpent Scrolls

This stage is better for farming with All-target Last Words due to the lower HP between the two targets. While the two do not share any weaknesses, Tewi and Kaguya won't pull out any nasty tricks to distract you, so any hard-hitting Friend should do fine here.

CASE 06 (All)

Enemy HP Weak To Resists Barriers Spell Gauge Skills
Zombie Fairy (Wood) 32500 Moon, Fire, Earth Water 4 2 None
Rumia 80000 Sun, Fire, Wood Moon, Water 5 2 None
Zombie Fairy (Moon) 32500 Wood, Earth, Star Sun 4 2 None

Drops: Attack and Defense Books, Plum and Chrysanthemum Tiles, Earth and Wind Scrolls

Rumia decides to bring out her zombie fairy posse to help her in this fight, resulting in another simple All-target oriented farming stage. At most only 2 enemies will share elemental weaknesses, but Rumia is the main foe to worry about nuking due to her higher HP.

Team Eirin Deploys(Solo)

Enemy HP Weak To Resists Barriers Spell Gauge Skills
Yoshika Miyako 161200 Moon, Water, Metal Wood, Earth 5 2 Inflicts 4 layers of Poison on all targets (2T)

Drops: Attack and Support Books, Chrysanthemum and Bamboo Tiles, Cloud and Serpent Scrolls

The very high HP of this jiang-shi might make her less ideal to target for farming, especially when she constantly poisons you and is ensured to drop your Yang stats. If you don't have the proper Friend to abuse her weaknesses, don't be ashamed to just attempt a previous one-wave.

Seiga's Secret Hideout (Solo)

Enemy HP Weak To Resists Barriers Spell Gauge Skills
Seiga Kaku 168000 Fire, Wood, Star Sun, Metal 5 2 None

Drops: Attack and Defense Books, Plum and Chrysanthemum Tiles, Wind and Cloud Scrolls

The final farming stage of this event is more of the same, having a high HP, singular target to take down. At least Seiga didn't take notes from her bodyguard and doesn't try any obstructive skills on you when trying to take her down.
