Should You Pull?

Recommended if you like Lunasa’s music and performances, otherwise you can save up if you wish. The universe of A6 expands even more, and some may say it’s music to their ears. Speaking of music, we have the first of the Prismriver Sisters we all know and love, this time being A6 Lunasa Prismriver! Is this the beginning of Prismriver Season while we are getting ever closer to Halloween? Only time will tell, but for now, we have our Scarlet Night Serenade Festival Prayer that also comes with a strong pre-existing 5★ Story Card and a new 4★ Story Card. In addition, we also have the usual Ascending Step-UP Prayer (60 God Crystals on Step 1, 460 God Crystals on Step 5) which have been the norm with recent A-Series Prayers like this. So with that out of the way, it’s time to face the music of A6 Lunasa and see what she can string together!

This A6 variant of Lunasa Prismriver is a Technical-Class Friend with a generally balanced kit all things considered. She is rather self-sustainable when it comes to the buffs she provides for herself which can also contribute to her damage too. CRIT ATK buffs are constantly given to the team via multiple means which helps A6 Lunasa a lot as she has a respectable Killer range, being Soul, Youkai, Dream World, Vampire, Undead, Devil, Maid and Magician. She also has ways of increasing her damage via Hard Scaling, and by extension, Yang DEF buffs that can be given to the team. She also has a small Accuracy buff for the team which can be rather helpful in ensuring those powerful hits do land. To wrap up what makes A6 Lunasa well balanced is her additional methods of Barrier restoration and even Skill 1’s Bind/Stat Debuff Removal on herself.

When it comes to breaking Barriers of her enemies, it’s rather satisfactory overall. A6 Lunasa’s main elements are Moon and Fire which there are a decent amount of in her kit, but there are a few Wood bullet lines that may have crept in along the way, possibly damaging the potential of her elemental consistency and not fully playing to her strongest elements 100% of the time. As for the anomaly side of things, A6 Lunasa definitely has a knack for inflicting and breaking Poison anomalies, with inflictions demonstrated via Skill 1 and Spell Card 1, and breaks are executed with Spell Card 1 and Last Word. A few extra breaks can be pulled off in the same places via Burn breaks, and her Last Word also has additional Paralyze breaking to work with if the option is there. Speaking of anomalies, A6 Lunasa is also immune to Freeze anomalies and is able to use Poison and Paralyze anomalies inflicted onto herself as well, resulting in more defensive buffs and even more usage of that Hard Scaling.

The main things holding back A6 Lunasa from reaching her full potential are actually not very major flaws in the grand scheme of things, and can be seen as nitpicky in some cases, but the aforementioned elemental issues with Wood distracting from her solid Fire and Moon breaks, as well as RNG in some of her effects in her kit. Whether it be her Bind/Stat debuff removal on Skill 1 or her Barrier restoration on Skill 3 (both values ranging from 1-2). In addition, we also have her Poison anomaly inflictions on Spell Card 1 Pre-ATK ranging from 2-3 layers of it being inflicted. In clear content, this is not exactly much of a worry but if you want to use A6 Lunasa as part of a farm comp, you’ll definitely have to make sure you are able to work around these issues here and there. However, these issues are minimal compared to other units’ flaws due to how well balanced this violinist is, and her downsides are not as severe as some other Friends (like another variant of a certain keyboardist sister).

It’s that time for Story Card Spotlight again! Let’s quickly go over the old but gold 5★ card being Bonds of Blood, boosting Fire bullets by 50% and has a strong Yin ATK stat stick. Straight to the point, and always handy to have. As for the new 4★ card called Lodger from Lilliput, we see another 50% effect here, but this time it’s a 50% damage resistance from Humans which could find use in niche situations, even in farm comps. With A6 Lunasa being in the spotlight, these Story Cards will naturally find their way to you in the future.

This Poltergeist having to deal with the Scarlet Mist incident in her world has so much going for her, even for a Festival Friend, but with less than a month left until Touhou LostWord Global’s 2.5 Anniversary on November 11th, some people may want to be prepared for what could come their way, and given how we currently have a Forever Prayer with A-Series Friends and have previously experienced previous A-Series reruns, this will be far from the last time we will get the chance to pick up A6 Lunasa, especially thanks to future reruns. However, it never hurts to try out a 60 God Crystal Prayer via its Ascending Step-UP, since if you are worried about your Seal Crystal count and don’t feel like you need A6 Lunasa, that extra 10 Fortune Dust, even with the worst luck for only 60 God Crystals never hurts, but the A6 violinist is still a worthy prize! Either way, definitely keep the upcoming Anniversary next month in mind in case something there will grab your attention (and Seal Crystals), but if you are a fan of (any of) the Prismriver Sisters, this will still be a helpful, well rounded Friend to help you in the future!

As the spooky Prismriver Concert Season is arriving, best of luck to all who wish to pull for A6 Lunasa as well as enjoyers of their music, this time currently lead by the strings of the violin!

Quick Overview

A6 Lunasa Prismriver is a Technical-Class Friend who strings along Poison anomaly inflict/break potential, a decent mix of Fire and Moon elements, and a fairly well rounded mix of ways to set up her damage.

Strings of Self-Sufficiency

A6 Lunasa is rather well rounded when it comes to setting up important buffs for herself. From 4 Stages of Yang ATK for herself via Skill 2, to lots of CRIT ATK buffs when Grazing or through a Pre-ATK of Spell Card 1 or Last Word (which all can be granted to the team), to Accuracy buffs for the team, to even Yang DEF buffs for her Hard Scaling. A6 Lunasa’s strings of various effects she can bring to the table make her a very balanced musician and Friend!

Violin Poltergeist’s Power Play

They say it’s the quiet ones to watch out for, and that definitely applies to A6 Lunasa, as her damage potential is rather strong and with the above, she can use that self-sufficiency to help bring out the damage needed, like with strong Hard Scaling on her Last Word as well as strong Killers mainly spearheaded by Youkai and Soul.

Breaks and Encore

A6 Lunasa also has a few other tricks up her sleeve, like with potential Bind Removal on Skill 1, Barrier restoration either for herself or for allies, and benefits from Poison and Paralyze anomalies as they will provide her defensive buffs. Speaking of anomalies, she can inflict 2 layers of Poison on all enemies also through Skill 1, then inflict 2-3 more with Spell Card 1 and break them via the same Spell Card as well as her Last Word, both at 2P, so A6 Lunasa can inflict and break at least 4 Poison anomalies onto her enemies.

Elements Wood Need a Fine-Tune

Fire and Moon are the main elements that A6 Lunasa is working with, and she does a fine job with them. However, you will notice there are little bits of Wood in them too, and she doesn’t quite make much use of them compared with Fire and Moon. In most cases, this isn’t going to hurt a whole lot, however, it is something to note.

RNG in Kit via Multiple Means

Unfortunately, in a game like Touhou LostWord that is geared towards farming, A6’s Lunasa’s uncertainty of 1-2 Bind Removals/Stat Debuffs on Skill 1, the 1-2 Barriers gained for herself via Skill 3 and the amount of Poison anomalies inflicted on her enemies via Spell Card 1 ranging from 2-3 may come as a bit of an issue for some, especially if you plan to use A6 Lunasa for farming. That said, it can still be possible to work around, and in clear content, it’s not going to be a huge factor, but this is worth keeping in mind regardless.
