Botzu's Quick Evaluation

+ Talent 1: deals additional Arts damage to the target based on a percentage of enemy DEF, making her even better at killing high DEF enemies, which is a strength of her Class
+ Dynamic range of prioritization and utility offered by her 3 Skills makes her very adaptable to different situations.
+ S1: good crowd control that prioritizes unblocked enemies and binds them
+ S2: Vaporizes high DEF enemies by prioritizing them and decreasing Attack Interval
+ S3: Good DPS Skill with a unique Caster ability changes damage to Physical, prioritizes low DEF, and disables enemy special abilities
= Talent 2: Increases her ATK and ASPD when there are no adjacent allies, a buff that can at times be difficult to activate
= Different strengths and utility than Eyjafjalla
- S3: has a long cooldown and works counter to her Talent

Operator Overview

Ceobe has a simple list of things she likes to do: eat well, drink well, sleep well, and beat up bad guys. Her disarming smile and sandy tresses are almost enough to distract from the armory of weapons she carries on her back, each one charged with elemental energy. This 6* ST Caster hurls her various weapons into the fray to deal extreme Arts damage and crowd-control her opponents. She is especially good at changing the enemies she targets based on what you need her to do.

Casters are already excellent counters to high-DEF enemies, and Ceobe takes this to a whole new level with her first Talent, Whittling, which increases her damage by a percentage of her target’s DEF. She gets a further DPS boost from her E2 Talent, Lone Journey, which increases her ATK and attack speed when she’s not adjacent to another ally. Her Skills give her a variety of options to use all this bonus damage with, and each has its own unique priority for the enemies it will target:

  1. Very Cold Tomahawk is an auto-trigger Skill that increases the damage of Ceobe’s next attack and causes it to Bind the target (stopping their movement). This attack prioritizes unblocked enemies where the Bind will be most effective, making it a good crowd-control option.
  2. Very Hot Blade is a manual Skill with great uptime that dramatically increases Ceobe’s attack speed and causes her to prioritize the highest-DEF enemies in her range. This Skill melts armored bosses like cotton candy in the desert sun.
  3. Very Heavy Spear is a manual Skill with a large SP cost but a correspondingly large effect. Ceobe’s ATK and attack range increase, her damage changes to physical, and her attacks Silence their targets (preventing special abilities). Since she deals physical damage with this Skill, she prioritizes the lowest-DEF enemies in range while it’s active, giving Ceobe an interesting hybrid niche amongst Casters. (Remember that her Talent is less effective against enemies with low DEF, however.)

Finding an isolated deployment spot to activate Lone Journey can be difficult on some maps, and Whittling doesn’t give much bonus damage against enemies with low DEF. Despite this, Ceobe is an absolute wrecking ball at destroying high-DEF enemies, which is usually the most important task for a ST Caster to fulfill. Give her an inch (of space) and this cerberus-inspired weaponsmaster will take a mile (-long spear and ram it straight through her enemy’s thorax).

Profile

A wanderer who has wandered as long as she has known. Despite being infected with Oripathy in the harsh wilderness, she kept marching on with her sharp instincts and undying will.  After being found and rescued by Rhodes Island, she masterfully passed the Operator test and joined Rhodes.

Clinical Analysis

Increase Trust to 25.
Imaging tests reveal blurred internal organs and abnormal shadows. Originium granules have been detected in the circulatory system and there are signs of infection. At this time the Operator is believed to be infected. [Cell-Originium Fusion Rate] 9% Operator has been exposed to harsh environments for extended periods of time, shows clear signs of crystal formation. [Blood Crystal Density] 0.31u/L Operator has almost never received formal treatment throughout her lone wandering lifestyle. Her worsening condition is a cause for concern, but she was able to drag this body across most of the world? It's simply miraculous that her body was able to endure up to this point. We can only hope there is something we can do for her...... ——Medical Operator J.A

Ceobe's first encounter with Rhodes Island was through battle. At that time, a starving Ceobe attacked a squad of Reserve Rhodes Island Operators in Leithanien. Though tired and hungry, Ceobe was completely defeated after a hard-fought battle. Rhodes Island Operators disarmed and detained her at the Rhodes Island Leithanien branch, but eventually decided to bring Ceobe back to the main ship due to Leithanien's infectious environment. During the journey, they taught Ceobe about interpersonal etiquette, since she so rarely interacted with civilization. Upon arriving at Rhodes Island, Ceobe came to a new understanding with the squad who defeated her -- eat well, drink well, sleep well, and always beat up bad guys. Fortunately, these are things she loves, making her a natural fit for Rhodes Island after her interview.

Stepping into such a brand-new world was overwhelming for Ceobe. Aside from the first few familiar faces, there were just too many people to meet. Of course, more than learning about new people, Ceobe loves learning about new foods. Beyond the large door at the cafeteria, there are countless delicacies just waiting to be tasted. Although she isn't particularly sneaky and is often caught, being dragged away doesn't stop her from trying again. At least, she won't give up before trying out all the cans and bottles. Since she's still learning the rules of society, everyone tacitly agreed not to punish her if she was caught, with some Operators even taking the opportunity to feed Ceobe all kinds of weird things. Some people want to do experiments, others have truly good intentions, but some people... some people just want to tease Ceobe. To their dismay, Ceobe always responded with, "Delicious!" or, "Not bad!" Nothing else but these two phrases. Naturally, the experimenters got useless data, the good intentioned people got useless feedback, and the teasers got disappointment. After a while, the number of people who would randomly feed Ceobe dwindled. Although she's been able to try out all kinds of amazing (and bizarre) foods at Rhodes Island, without a doubt her favorite food is honey cakes. This has turned into effective Ceobe control from raiding the pantry. However, Ceobe will only eat honey cakes made by Lava, Vulcan, or Matterhorn. Even if a star chef made honey cakes, she wouldn't even touch a crumb. In short, she won't binge eat, but can really eat. She will eat anything, but really loves honey cakes. If she so desired, she could eat Rhodes Island out of house and home.

Upon arriving at Rhodes Island Ceobe has made many good friends. Among them, she is most comfortable with the Doctor. Although the Doctor looks much weaker than Ceobe, the Doctor is super smart, smarter than Vulcan. With just a few phrases, the Doctor can help Ceobe get a rough understanding of things she finds hard to get. During operations, tactics tend to fly over her head, but with the Doctor's orders like, "Stand here," "Shoot that," or "Hit here," the mission is done before they realize it. This allows Ceobe to save brain cells, while making the Doctor one of the few who can really handle Ceobe. Aside from the Doctor, Ceobe relies the most on Vulcan. This may be due to the Master of Arms' trust in a blacksmith, or due to Ceobe's reverence of Vulcan's home Minos, or maybe a bit of both that makes Vulcan so dear to her. When she's not in her own room or the Doctor's office, there's a high chance Ceobe will be in Vulcan's workshop. Even if Ceobe isn't doing anything, she seems content just to watch Vulcan working. Word on the deck has it that if Ceobe is there, the normally taciturn Vulcan will feed Ceobe some snacks and chat with her while working. Isn't that amazing?

Ceobe's first weapon was her axe engraved with her name. She decided to go on a journey to discover its origins, starting by asking random people for directions. She traveled across the lands, eating wild fruit, drinking river water, and rarely coming into contact with civilization. Without the knowledge to avoid infectious areas, Ceobe eventually contracted Oripathy. Although she was scared of the "black crystals" that appeared on her skin at first, she grew to realize the power they brought her: her weapons became even stronger. As Ceobe journeyed on, her strong fears were overtaken by a growing mania for collecting weapons. With this newfound hunger came uncontrollable impulses where she realized problems could be solved with violence. Ceobe tried to fight against these urges, preferring to gain weapons peacefully. Despite her intentions, she ended up helping some and hurting others. Some people rewarded Ceobe with weapons for completing missions, some people tried to bribe Ceobe with weapons, and some people simply gave Ceobe weapons as gifts. Anyways, after wandering in the East, Ceobe met a kind stranger who told her she was heading the wrong direction and should be going West instead. After collecting many stories and weapons, Ceobe made her fateful stop at Leithanien, where the Rhodes Island Reserve squad put a temporary stop to her journey. Although she wasn't eligible to be an Operator at first, with Vulcan's recommendation and strong test assessments, HR decided to grant her a chance. Ceobe never thought she would become an Operator (or rather, she wasn't aware of the concept of being an Operator), but according to her joining Rhodes was a very precious experience. After becoming a Rhodes Island Operative, her days are filled with eating well, drinking well, and beating up bad guys. Her Oripathy-induced weapon mania is receiving treatment and showing improvements in prognosis. She loves life at Rhodes Island, and wishes that she could live like this forever-- now if only someone could tell her about her axe...

High level Oripathy has granted Ceobe control over the Originium Arts, yet she requires a suitable weapon to channel them. Ceobe will naturally choose a weapon and express its attributes through Arts, including Fire, Earth, Ice, and more elements. As far as she knows, this ability is triggered unconsciously. She has no control over it, nor does she really desire to control it. Under the tutelage of Rhodes Island, she is trying to hone her unique skill——Although she might not be able to pass traditional instruction on Originium Arts, she must at least learn the basics of its operation. This will allow her to better identify and control her abilities, as well as improve her interactions with Arts in general. As such, Rhodes has already came up with a study plan for Ceobe. So long as she can sit still in class, given her talent we believe she can become an excellent Arts user. "In your dreams" ——Anonymous Comment
