Operator Alexsandr Senaviev, codename Tachanka, Rainbow member. One of the witnesses to the "Watchtower 33" incident, and was registered in Rhodes Island's collaborator list afterward.

Like the other members of Rainbow, Tachanka's personal records are full of blanks. We don't know which country he is from, nor do we know his past employment experiences. But in the operator combat assessment provided by Human Resources, Tachanka displayed combat abilities and tactical acumen with extreme professionalism, and his combat experience demonstrated during the positional warfare and defensive combat assessments was deeply memorable. We presume that Tachanka has served many years in a certain military, and may have participated in large-scale group combat many times.

Tachanka is a 5★ Dualstrike Guard  with an extended range, higher DEF, and longer Redeployment Time.  He has 1 Skill that flame-bombs AoE Arts damage and ignores DEF, and the other that rapid-fires random enemies with a chance to increase his ATK.

Skill 1: After skill activation, immediately fire an incendiary grenade at the target, creating a burning zone for a certain duration. Enemies within the burning zone will receive a certain amount of Arts damage every second. When Tachanka is attacking targets within the burning zone, ignore a certain amount of DEF

Skill 2: During skill activation, greatly reduce Attack Interval and randomly target enemies within attack range. Every attack has a certain chance to increase ATK.

First Impressions

Note: These are first impressions and based on conjecture since we don’t know the exact details. 

Tachanka will be another 5★ addition to the Dualstrike Guard Archetype, along with Bibeak.  The extended range of his normal attacks will set him apart from the others in his Archetype, though perhaps not as much as one might think, as Duelstrike Guards tend to have Skills with extended ranges.  High DEF enemies tend to give this Archetype trouble because of their low ATK stats, so the DEF ignore and Arts damage on S1 may help mitigate that.  S2 looks to be a straight-forward nuke, that targets random enemies.  Although RNG abilities can be troublesome at times, it seems rather low-impact in this case.

Since Dualstrike Guards are not exactly widely used for blocking, and he doesn't have any Skills that benefit from re-deployment, it seems unlikely his other Talent perks will make a significant different in his usage.

Overall, Tachanka seems like he will be a serviceable Operator, especially if the extended range of his attacks can be used effectively.  As always, the final details will tell the final tale!

The results of the imaging tests showed that the internal organs of the Operator were well defined with no abnormal shadows and no abnormal Originium particles were detected in the circulatory system. Crew member Aleksandr Senav'yev, codename Tachanka, member of the Rainbow Squad. He was one of the witnesses to the Watchtower 33 incident and was registered as a Rhodes Island collaborator after the incident.

Like the other members of the Rainbow Team, Tachanka's personal record is full of gaps, and we do not know what country he came from or what his past experience was. However, in the operator combat assessment provided by the personnel department, Tachanka showed extremely professional combat skills and tactical education, and in tests of positional and defensive combat, Tachanka showed impressive combat experience. We presume that the operator has served in an army for many years and may have been involved in large scale group operations on several occasions. On top of his extensive combat experience, Tachanka has clearly received full training in machining skills.

However, it should be noted that the members of the Rainbow Squad are only working with us on a temporary basis and are not full time employees of Rhodes, they still have a lot to keep them busy, so please do not rely too heavily on their strength.

Operator Tachanka is a very approachable person, he is funny, bright and laughs a lot. He can also be stuffy at times, but holds no ill will towards others. When the medical department in Rhode Island was mentioned, Tachanka chatted about his family, his sister who was still working as a doctor.

He was close to quite a few people, especially Rangers and the Blacksteel operators. The recording session of his personal file was also spent in jokes and laughter.

The members of the Rainbow Squad were not stationed on Rhodes for long before they left, they seemed to have a lot of business to attend to. Tachanka often went to talk to the operators from Ursus during this time, he seemed to be interested in Ursus and was trying to learn the language during this time.

One day, however, he had a long chat with a couple of Ursus operators, and at the end of it Tachanka sat on the deck of Rhodes in silence all morning in a bad mood. Afterwards a few operators came forward and described the situation.

"He asked a lot of questions about Ursus, when we gave him an account of the Chernobog incident, his expression slowly became very serious & angry and he soon stopped talking."

We advise others not to ask Tachanka about this.

The records of the Watchtower 33 incident have been submitted to the higher-ups. Dr. Kal'tsit did not question the Rainbow Squad, but she did ask about the "Originium mutated creatures" mentioned in the records, the details of which I will explain in a separate report.

According to the report submitted by the Blacksteel operators, the incident was resolved nicely and Rhodes Island suffered little damage in the incident.

Dr. Kal'tsit has recommended that most of the Rainbow Squad's physiological records be sealed. I know the medical department had a lot of questions about the Rainbow Squad's medical tests, but Dr Kal'tsit didn't think most of the questions in the records were worth looking into.

"The earth is vast enough and contains secrets far beyond our level of knowledge, and it would be a waste of the medical department's energy to study any phenomenon that we cannot understand."

Please keep the record of Operator Tachanka's weapon's modification in a safe place, it is strictly confidential to everyone, especially to the Sankta operators!

Closure and I thoroughly studied this unusually shaped heavy gun ...... No, gun is not the right word for this weapon, it is not what we know as a "gun".

Unfortunately, we didn't get to see this big thing fire. Although none of the working ammunition survived, the operator Tachanka explained to us in detail how it worked.

We tried countless ways to restore the weapon to its working condition as described by Tachanka, but the results of each experiment were unfortunate. In the first 100 samples, most of the ammunition was largely ineffective from 10 metres away, but was it true that Tachanka said that the weapon could hit from 600 or 700 metres? What the hell is "nitrocellulose"?

After trying it for at least a week ...... It really was a disaster of a week, we broke a lot of stuff and I think we've been paying for all of it this month. But we did get some results.

After Closure mixed ground up Originium powder with some industrial ketone material and dried it, the reloaded ammunition finally had a ..... .200m or so range. In order to be able to shoot this ammunition properly, the bore and magazine of the heavy gun were modified and the barrel of the gun was changed to a larger calibre. After many improvements ...... At least the end result was satisfactory.

Based on the experience of this modification, I modified all the cannons of the Rainbow Squad, and although it took time and effort, at least half a month's work finally yielded some results.

But the only problem I had now was ...... These weapons are heavier than the Laterano guns because of the ammunition, they are extremely noisy to fire, but they are not as powerful as the heavy semi-automatic crossbows made by Raythean Industries! What was the point of working so long on this! Don't ask me to do this again!
