Overview
Natalie teeters on the edge of death as a trickier version of Ieyasu. In place of Bleed and Crit, Natalie’s power stems from the numerous enhancements gained when below 30% HP. But unlike another risky pick like Veronica, Natalie doesn’t need to intentionally take hits. Though difficult to pilot and maintain by nature, skilled players are sure to see results rivalling those of her predecessor.Â
Strengths
High Risk, High RewardÂ
Staying below 30% HP grants an enormous buff to neutral damage in both raw Strength and attack rate. After granting a one-time get-out-of-jail-free card, Clean Slate grants yet another Strength boost, capping out at 35% STR.Â
Self-MaintenanceÂ
Natalie has two ways to drop into her optimal HP range: tank damage or simply use Clean Slate. Even if healed to just above optimal range, Clean Slate can safely return to a functional HP level.Â
Weaknesses
Lackluster Energy Â
Despite having essentially double Energy per Skill cast, Energy has no other interactions with Natalie’s kit and requires three cycles of Defiant Dance to self-Energize.
HP GatedÂ
Naturally, playing so close to death is a precarious situation. In a reversal of the usual HP thresholds, Natalie loses out big time if healed to above 30% HP. Although Clean Slate can always readjust HP levels, using it for that purpose locks Natalie out of from yet another source of Strength. Furthermore, the divergent shield granted is single-use, making it ill-suited for waves of lesser enemies.Â
Dragon Recommendations
- Gala Cat Sith:Â In shorter maps, Cat Sith is the best option, as the skill damage boost is imply monsterous.
- Shinobi:Â A good option if you can't keep Cat Sith's stacks up.
- Fatalis:Â Locks you out of dragon form, but the strength boost is massive.Â

Natalie is best served with a skill damage print, then focusing on crit damage through Howling to the Heavens and Chariot Drift. If you are running with Patia and can abuse Double Buff skills, take Brothers in Arms over Flash of Genius, or Sisters of the Anvil over The Plaguebringer.Â
