Hero Build Overview/Explanation
knoll here is a big project of mine! hes currently +4 as of writing this with full dragonflowers and an astra blessing.
for being a red tome infantry dark mage, hes particularly stunning when it comes to his resistance for me.
i dont play competitively, so let me do my best to break down why this works for me how it does.
i kept his base kit and added iceberg, renewal and atk/res bond.
i chose atk/res bond specifically so that he wouldnt be as crippled during enemy phase, if he happened to get caught there (i always happen to keep my units close together, thats just how i play. if you tend to keep your units apart, aim for one of the solo seals for the same effect.). i chose renewal because if he DID get caught and there wasnt a healer nearby, he, again, wouldnt be as crippled as he might be.
i currently have him paired with l!corrin (with her base kit) as a support partner and i keep them together at all times.
hes definitely a resistance tank which is something really nice to see, even within my ever-growing collection of red tome infantry units. even if you dont have a soft spot for red tome infantry units like i do, knoll will absolutely be a good addition to your team if you're willing to put in a little bit of work for him.
