Equipment

#2 Processor for shorter fights, as she's unlikely to overcap RoF on them, or will overcap when the fight is about to end.

X-Exo on longer fights, as the overcapping will end up detrimental to her total DPS

Overview

Fedorov, a 4 star Russian cutie, brings to the table an unusual Skill. With an ICD of Zero, she starts ahead of almost all ARs, but fails miserably to keep up with them.

Her Skill kit is rather simple to understand: Every 4 to 5 seconds (depending on if she receives a buff during the Skill’s activation), she buffs additively 10% Damage, up to 6 times. This Skill can be looked at through three lenses:

  1. Damage Self-buff: at the last buff, she’ll have a 60% Damage buff (at 20-24 seconds, depending on how many times she is buffed). While on paper this sounds good, G41, which is the AR standard, self-buffs 75% at 4 seconds, while at that moment Fedorov will start buffing herself 20%. So against dedicated Damage self-buffers, she lags heavily behind.
  2. RoF Self-buff: she starts self-buffing RoF (That is that the “Attack Speed” in the obviously Google Translated Skill description means) 15% from the third buff onwards. That means that she reaches up to 60% RoF self-buff. As she has a base RoF stat of 59, with the #2 Processor equipped, she bumps it up to 84, which will require ~40% RoF buff to reach the RoF cap. That means that, on the third time she self-buffs her RoF, she hit RoF cap, and the fourth buff is entirely wasted. That’s without considering the potential RoF buffs of SMGs in the team (for example, if RO635 is in the team, she already reaches cap on the second time she self-buffs). Against dedicated RoF self-buffers, like Type 97 and Type 89, she also lags behind, as those have much shorter ICDs
  3. Accuracy Self-buff: At the fifth buff, she start self-buffing Accuracy, reaching up to 60% Accuracy self-buff. Not only does she have a decent base Accuracy of 60, but she’s also likely to have it buffed via Fairy Auras or SMGs. Moreover, ARs aren’t usually fielded against very evasive enemies that would require buffing her Accuracy to over 100.

All these buffs are permanent, which means that, at the 20-24 seconds mark, she has a permanent 60% Damage, 60% RoF and 60% Accuracy self-buffs. Her passive can also be trigged by Fairy Talent, but not by her own Active Skill too. However, do note that, by this mark, Fedorov still has to catch up, total damage-wise, which means she'll only have a considerable total damage output way past the 24 seconds mark.

Overall, she fails to stand up against decided FP buffers, against RoF self-buffers, and against hybrids buffers, such as AK-12, which also dislikes the #2 Processor due to easily overcapping RoF. While she is prone to overlapping by a fair margin when equipped with #2 Processor, she still prefers the equip over an X exo when fielded with fairies with sufficiently high Crit Damage aura, such as Command, Beach, Parachute and Taunt.

One niche that she could be fitted at is Boss fights, as those are notorious to last well past the 24 seconds mark. In those, Fedorov’s permanent buffing (which is a decent 60% FP and RoF buff) would let her catch up to other ARs’ total DPS, and even surpass them. However, because Boss fights are very niche in nature, and often require specialized teams, there’s the possibility that she won’t have room to shine when the likes of G11 Mod and ST AR-15 Mod exist. Therefore, fitting her on Bossing teams should be looked at on a case-by-case basis.

Strengths

Gorgeous dork

If only her kit was as good of a mix as is her mix of serious, pretty and dorky looks.

Weaknesses

Takes too long to ramp up FP buff

60% FP at 20-24s is easily beaten by G41 and her 4s 75%.

Takes too long to ramp up RoF buff

60% RoF buff at 20-24 seconds is easily beaten by the likes of Type 97 and Howa T89, with their RoF buffs in the ~6s window, and AR-15, with her near permanent RoF capping buff at 4s.

Moreover, on longer fights, the RoF overcap promoted by #2 Processor may mean Fedorov might be better off without it, if she is not fielded with fairies with sufficiently high Crit Damage auras (i.e. Command, Parachute, Taunt). However, since most fights don't tend to last past the 30s mark, equipping her with the chip pays off, even if at the end of the fight she's overcapped.

Fails to match former meta smug slav

Against AK-12, which is the closest T-Doll kit-wise, Fedorov not only lacks the Crit Rate buff (which would have been appreciated, as she’s prone to overcapping RoF if equipped with #2 Processor), but also only has a 20% FP buff at the 6s mark, whereas AK-12 has 35% Damage, RoF and Crit Rate. AK-12 also fell down the meta since the introduction of #2 Processor, which means Fedorov fails to beat a T-Doll that’s not even meta anymore.

Accuracy buff doesn’t make much of a difference

60% Accuracy buff is nice, but ARs are rarely in need of Accuracy buffs. With Fairy Auras and SMGs often buffing it, on top of ARs already having decent Accuracy stats to begin with (and Fedorov is no exception), there’s little need to buff it even more.

Not specialized enough for Bossing niche

Her only hope was in drawn out fights niche, which is what most Boss fights are. But with the likes of G11 Mod, ST AR-15 Mod, as well as Boss fights that requires different strategies, there hardly is any room to fight for Fedorov, even if in those fights she could have a chance to catch up and surpass the DPS of most ARs.

Profile

Calm and meticulous, she handles every situation with logic and careful consideration. Her mindset-"never stop preparing for the next battle"-is an asset in missions, but often causes her unnecessary stress in day-to-day life.
