Overview

The Pink Power Ranger is here! R5 is a 5★ AR, freely obtainable from a point event.

R5 is basically G41 with her Speq. They possess the exact same skill and are so close statistically that there is no discernible performance difference between them. This in turn means everything that you can say about G41 also applies to R5. She’s a good all-around AR with no glaring weakness but also nothing special about her.

Veteran commanders with developed rosters won’t have much need for yet another generic AR like R5. Newer commanders (which won’t have G41’s Speq too) will get more value out of her since she’ll be a solid starting addition to an AR roster. Overall, R5 won’t let you down, but she won’t wow you either.
 

Strengths

Strong All Around

R5 comes with 55 Damage and 76 Rate of Fire, both above average for ARs. Her skill is Damage Focus T, a 75% Damage boost for 10 seconds on a short 4 second ICD. Her simple kit grants her a lot of versatility and can find use in most scenarios you would want an AR.

Great Tiles

To just add onto the G41 comparisons, R5 has the same tile layout and even buffs for 15% Evasion just like her. The difference is R5 also buffs for 12% Rate of Fire, while G41 buffs for 50% Accuracy. 

Weaknesses

Nothing Standout

With there being more of a need to have specialised ARs to handle certain situations, R5’s versatility can be more of a hindrance than a benefit. There’ll usually always be someone better suited for a specific job than her.

As you could probably guess, R5 has no specific team requirements. Just use any of your preferred SMGs to protect her and alongside any of your preferred ARs.
