Revival: GUDAGUDA Honnoji Walkthrough

Submit Feedback or Error

Introduction

  • The GUDAGUDA Honnoji event is mostly a farming-based event with an additional points-ladder.
  • Masters familiar with the initial run of the event may remember the awful drop rates. That hasn't changed much.
  • The best nodes are time-gated, try to avoid spending apples early on.
  • Masters who wish to clear the event shop will have to spend apples. Even gacha CEs only go so far.
  • Generally, the daily quests will give an exorbitant sum of points with which to climb the ladder, active Masters will not have an issue attaining 1.5 million points.
  • The GUDAGUDA Poster Girl CE from the gacha is an extremely powerful CE that enables many unique high-end strategies through its taunt effect - it will however be back along with Okita around September.
  • Start the event by clearing the Main Quest.

Farming Walkthrough

  • The first 4 Free Quests are unlocked first via Main Quest completion, and thereafter are unlocked basically every 2 days.
  • For the exact drops rates, see either the Free Quest page, or use the event calculator.
  • Focus mainly on the currency drops; the points can be farmed at the end, or will complete automatically while farming currency.
  • Veterans from last year could forego buying the Guda-O CE - they're rather expensive and it isn't a very powerful CE anymore.
  • Masters who rolled Okita (+100% event bonus ) can do likewise.
  • Masters with EMIYA or who diligently spend their AP/use apples, can also consider not buying all of the Guda-O CEs.
  • Generally, prioritize the event over the 1/2 AP Training Grounds.

For Masters with no Gacha CEs

  • Grind either Novice or Intermediate until the best nodes open in week 2. The returns are better than running 40 AP for their main currency, but Masters cannot purchase all copies of Gudao-O early on. The "saved" AP can be spent later on better gold currency/points nodes.

For Masters with Poster Girl

  • Masters can take the "normal" path and farm Sanjiva or Kalasutra for the first week. The extra gold currency can be used to buy Guda-O CEs earlier. It's also safer points-wise, but Masters will receive less currency unless they have a mix of Gacha CEs. Points are generally not an issue if Masters do all the daily Honnoji quests with a max bonus though.

Points Walkthrough

  • The points ladder looks intimidating - but in practice isn't hard to max out.
  • Master can attain a great deal of points by running the points daily with a maxed Honnoji Points team - the enemies are very weak.
  • The dailies do expire. Complete them before the days end. Rushing the Guda-O CE is unnecessary considering the distribution of points.
  • To get the greatest amount of points from the daily quests, always do the following:
  1. Field as many Bonus Servants as possible, especially Oda Nobunaga.
  2. Field as many Guda-O CEs as possible.
  3. Borrow an Okita with an MLB Guda-O CE from a veteran player, especially for the final week.
  • Masters who do all of the above, with no gacha rolling whatsoever, can reach 420% bonus points.
  • Masters still receive the base points - meaning a 420% bonus equals a 5.2 multiplier. See the table below for the Honnoji Points distribution.
  • Note that more than 50% of the points from the dailies are gathered in the last 4 days. Patience is key!
  • Still need more points? The Avici node is best both for Honnoji Points and gold currency.
  • Of course, try to fill the backline and empty CE slots with bonus Servants and Guda-O.
