Character Analysis
Shiki Eiki, Yamaxanadu (Underground Waste Ward Depot Master) was released on May 26th 2023 in Prayer “Railroad Judgment Ultra Festival”.
When it comes to being punctual, safe train journeys and fair judgments, look no further than our Yama from the Underground Waste Ward who has the keys to the kingdom! Eiki Shiki, Yamaxanadu’s position regardless of what world she hails from seems to have a recurring theme, to keep balance in one way or another. It seems like this iteration of her is quite immaculate when it comes to preventing anything from going off the rails as the Station Master.
B3 Shiki Eiki, Yamaxanadu is a Debuff-Class Friend who has an even spread of Water and Metal elements, Poison and Blind anomaly inflictions/breaks and of course, debuffs, mainly in the form of Yang DEF, Yin DEF and CRIT DEF.
As a Debuffer
- Yang DEF Debuffs via Skill 3 and Last Word.
- Yin DEF Debuffs via Skill 3, Spread Shot bullet lines and Last Word.
- CRIT DEF Debuffs via Skill 2, Spell Card 2 bullet lines and Last Word.
- Evasion Debuffs via Spell Card 2.
As an Attacker / Supporter
- Uses a mix of Yin and Yang, both assigned to an element with Yang lines being Metal and Yin lines being Water. Both raw stats are at 1900.
- Yang ATK and Yin ATK buffs via Spell Card 1 (Party) and Last Word bullet lines.
- Increases her Spirit Power via Skills 2 and 3 by 0.50 and 1.25 respectively, with the former being team-wide.
- Brief CRIT ATK buff for the team via Skill 2.
- Makes use of Slice Scaling in her bullet lines. Spell Card 2 also buffs her Agility which helps that more.
- Thanks to her Ability, damage to enemies will get a 25% boost on her Metal or Water elements if they are either resisted or effective on an enemy.
- Increases her own Accuracy for every Boost.
- Killer range includes Soul, Lunar Capital, Lunarian, Moon Rabbit and Undead
As a Utility
- Poison and Blind anomaly immunity.
- Inflicts Poison anomalies via Skill 1 and Last Word as well as Blind anomalies on Spell Card 2. These can both be broken via Focus Shot, Spell Card 2 and Last Word.
- Grants herself Barriers via Skill 1 and Spell Card 1.
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on July 12, 2023)
Spell Card
While B3 Eiki’s Spirit Power on Skills is handy, more of it won't hurt at all. Cards like Mountain of Faith, The Witch of Scarlet Dreams, Our Dream and Myouren Temple Anniversary. Mountain of Faith not only increases it by a good amount, but it also increases B3 Eiki’s Light bullets on Spell Cards by 30%. Our Dream is a similar pick, except it focuses on Metal being boosted by 25%. As for Myouren Temple Anniversary, there are quite a few effects here, such as 0.75 Spirit Power for the team, a 25% also providing a boost in Metal bullets subjects an enemy to a Yang DEF debuff,
With B3 Eiki’s mix of Yin and Yang, she would be able to benefit from both Yin ATK UP and Yang ATK UP cards like Overwhelming Firepower and Redder Than Blood for Yin ATK UP as well as cards like Ordinary Magician, How Irrational… and Kasen’s Senkai. Supportive variations of these cards like Nameless Adventurers, Mansion of Memories, Tenma Mountain Starfall and Worlds in Hand help too, with the last one boosting CRIT ATK. If you want to focus on that, more cards to consider are Miracle Mallet and New Year’s Shrine Visit VI, with the latter also helping with Yin ATK.
If you want to double down on her Debuffing capabilities, you also have cards like Lunar Capital Stasis Plan, Glistening Summer Days, Flight Through Silence, Little Laplace’s Demon and Underworld Party Night to make use of.
And finally, with Eiki’s Spell Cards using Light, Puppeteer and Necromancer is a great pick for it in terms of damage due to its 50% boost in Light bullets.
Last Word
With a Heavy Last Word, you can’t go wrong with The Secret God of the Sky with its 50% Heavy boost and +2 CRIT ATK, should she land her Killers. Another 50% boost option is Summer God, Fantasy Sea with another 50% Boost. Lunar Capital Stasis Plan is actually a rather solid pick due to B3 Eiki’s Debuff role, which means all enemies get a Yang DEF debuff and a 35% boost in Heavy bullets and a 25% boost in her Water bullets. Some other feasible but technically weaker picks would be Disillusion and Divergent Spirits EX with their respective Metal and Water boosts by 50% as well as Myouren Temple Anniversary with its lesser Metal Boost and even more Yang DEF debuffing on a specific enemy.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
You’ll want to start with her third Skill, Double Effect Rule. It already has a tedious 8 Turn Cooldown, but at level 1, it’s as long as 10 Turns, and on top of the strengthened debuffing and Spirit Power gain, we will want to fix that. Next up will be Overclocker, the second Skill. The little bit of Team CRIT ATK and Spirit Power Support is appreciated as well as the CRIT DEF debuffing. Finally will be Spider Lily Track, which is still great for mainly helping with Poison Anomaly inflictions.
Character Strengths
Passage of Debuffs
It’s expected for a Debuff Class friend, but B3 Eiki brings judgment in the form of Yin DEF, Yang DEF and CRIT DEF debuffing, and by a potentially extensive amount from Skills and Last Word. Due to her balance of Yin and Yang, B3 Eiki herself benefits from this, but any other friend can take advantage of this large package of debuffs to reap, whether they are Yin, Yang, or want to capitalize on their Killers from CRIT DEF debuffs.
Passage of Breaks
Should an enemy have to face B3 Eiki, they will have to come face to face with her breaking potential, whether it comes from anomalies or elements. Starting with the latter, she inflicts a good chunk of Poison and Blind anomalies, with Poison inflictions on Skill 1 and her Last Word as well as Spell Card 2 entailing Blind inflictions. These can both be broken by her Focus Shot, Spell Card 2 and Last Word. As for elements, it’s very simple, as they are a fair balance of Metal on her Yang lines and Water on her Yin lines, just like clockwork.
Character Weaknesses
Somewhat Lacking Retribution
B3 Eiki is an odd case when it comes to damage potential. On one hand, she can increase her damage from Metal or Water bullet lines by 25% if her bullets hit an enemy that either resists or is weak to the corresponding element of the two above. On another hand, her support is a mixed bag when it comes to how good it can be, because Yang ATK and Yin ATK support on Spell Card 1 as well as minor CRIT ATK (albeit 1 turn) and Spirit Power support on Skill 2 is nothing to sneeze at, but that’s how far the train is willing to travel in that field. On top of that, B3 Eiki will not always be able to capitalize on her CRIT DEF debuffing as her Killers delve more into quantity over quality, with some of her best ones being Undead, Soul, Lunar Capital, Lunarian and Moon Rabbit.
