Character Analysis
Daiyousei (Scarlet) was released on March 31, 2023 in "Festival Prayer: Fairy of the Scarlet Lake." For more up-to-date analysis, be sure to visit the Official Discord Server.
Flitting alongside an overconfident ice fairy along the banks of the Misty Lake is a nameless fairy, larger in disposition than most of her peers. Much like her original form, Daiyousei of the Scarlet World is an ever supportive Friend, though this manifests as a form with more offensive power reminiscent of her original self told in stories long past. This variant of Daiyousei is a Debuff Friend who scrambles enemy lines with Yin and Crit Debuffs while inflicting and breaking Freeze and Paralyze anomalies.
As a Utility
- Can inflict and break Freeze and Paralyze barriers on ALL enemies
- Inflicts Freeze and Paralyze barriers back to target when these anomalies are applied to her

As a Defensive Support / Tank
- Debuffs enemy party Accuracy and Crit Accuracy
As an Attacker

- Self sufficient Yin ATK buffs through Focus Shot and both Spell Cards
- Bullet Elements include Water, Wood and Fire in descending frequency
- Deals 25% more damage to effective Elements
- Minor Spirit P generation
Story Card Recommendations
(Card recommendations last updated on October 02, 2023)
Spell Card
Spirit Power Generation, Yin ATK and even Accuracy will benefit A6 Daiyousei a lot, whether it be selfish or beneficial to the team. Supportive Story Cards will be great in their own ways too, with cards that will buff the team's Accuracy, Spirit Power, CRIT ATK or Yin ATK. For damage options, go with Sharp boosting Cards on Spell Card 1 and Normal-Boosting Cards on Spell Card 2.
Yin ATK UP: New Year’s Shrine Visit VI, Redder Than Blood, Overwhelming Firepower, Tenma Mountain Starfall, Blood Moon Singing Contest, Rainbow Dragon Cave, Mansion of Memories, Shrine Maiden Reborn, A Curious Festival
Spirit Power UP: Let the Oil Money Flow, Mountain of Faith, The Witch of Scarlet Dreams, Dancer in the Puddle, Youkai Mountain Anniversary, Our Dream, Road of Liminality’s Ennichi, Taking a Breather in Spring, Midnight Tea
Team Spirit Power UP: Divine Spirit Tajikarao, Dancers Take the Stage, Myouren Temple Anniversary, Utopia Tea Time
CRIT ATK UP: New Year’s Shrine Visit VI, Divine Spirit Tajikarao, Worlds in Hand, Bloody Order, Miracle Mallet, Standing Behind You, Ordinary Magician, 19th Hakurei Shrine Reitaisai

Sharp Bullet Power UP: Sporadically Margaret, I'm Alright!
Normal Bullet Power/Team Yang ATK UP: Nameless Adventurers
Water Bullet Power UP: Divergent Spirits EX, Lunar Capital Stasis Plan, Tropico-Fantasia!
Top Yin ATK Stat Sticks: Incident Shrine, Bonds of Blood, Lunatic Red Eyes, Divine Spirit Tajikarao, Kaguya’s Moonlit Festival, Anniversary at the SDM, Infinity Garden, Redder Than Blood, Summer Rocket, I’m Alright!, The Heat of my Fingertips
Top Yin DEF Stat Sticks: 19th Hakurei Shrine Fall Reitaisai, Youkai Mountain Anniversary, Sweet Dreams, Flight Through Silence, Resolver the Scarlet Mist Incident
Yin ATK + Yin DEF Stat Sticks: Kaguya’s Moonlit Festival, Infinity Garden, Summer Rocket, I’m Alright!, Behind The Bullets: Reimu, Dropping Keystones, Dark Mastermind?, My Fair Little Lady, Puppeteer and Necromancer
Last Word
Nameless Adventurers
Lively Temple Grounds
Divergent Spirits EX
Tropico Fantasia!
Two Girl Rock Band
Divine Spirit Tajikarao
Worlds in Hand
Nameless Adventurers and Lively Temple Grounds are A6 Daiyousei's go-to sources of damage, both boosting her output by 50% and 30% respectively with the former also providing some Yang ATK support for Yang Friends. Since her Last Word also mostly consists of Water, you could try out some Water-Boosting Cards, but the best one here would be Divergent Spirits EX. With a 50% Boost in it, favourable Yin ATK stats and even a small Yin ATK buff due to being a Debuff-Class Friend. Lesser Water options would include Tropico-Fantasia, Two Girl Rock Band and My Favorites with Lunar Capital Stasis Plan being a weaker option while providing some Yang Debuff potential that some Yang Friends would be able to take advantage of.
Should you find yourself firing off her Last Word early, cards like Divine Spirit Tajikarao and Worlds in Hand will provide her team some CRIT ATK buffs as well as Spirit Power for the former, helping them to hit harder while also having favourable Yin ATK stats.
Character Skill Level Up Recommendations
Start with Skill 2, Continuing Decima to give her the boost of Spirit P she needs to start battles strong, especially when it comes to hitting the lines she needs for those first few Freeze anomaly breaks. This combos into Skill 1, Beginning Nona which inflicts Freeze anomalies on ALL enemies, allowing for said breaks while contributing some Accuracy and Crit DEF down on the enemy. Finish up with Skill 3, Ending Morta for additional Paralyze anomalies that you can break via Last Word, while inflicting Evasion and Accuracy debuffs on your opponents.
Character Strengths
”Weights are so passé.”
Once known for her proficiency with dropping the Twitter bird onto a single target for 6 Metal bonks, this prankster has embraced modernity, opting instead to apply Freeze and Paralyze Anomalies onto enemy teams which she can then break with Spell Card 1 or her Last Word. 25% less memey, 150% more efficient!
”Where are you aiming?”
Understanding the value of a funny prank, Daiyousei has diversified her skill set, settling on instead blinding her opponents so hard even Rumia would take notice. Her Spell Card 1, Last Word and Skill 1 drop a combined 9 Levels of Accuracy Down on all enemies for 3 turns, meaning they’ll be fumbling around in the dark long after your Friends are done setting up for their afternoon cup of murder.
Character Weaknesses
Poor damage potential
Daiyousei is a selfless debuffer through and through, devoting every little of her kit to herself. While she is technically able to max out her Yin ATK with sustained Focus Shots and continuous Boosting, players wanting to avoid drawn out battles will find that she otherwise lacks relevant buffs to Accuracy and Crit ATK to really hit home her damage.
Debuffs aren’t all they’re cracked up to be
With no actual team buffs to speak of, players may find themselves starting back at zero when enemy buffs are thrown off, most commonly due to being Full Broken.
